I loved everything!
The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They have loads of knowledge about the area and, make a great breakfast with a lot of options!
The room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfy! I slept like a baby each night and felt right at home.
I am looking forward to visiting again!

Excellent location, lovely rooms and fully equipped. Shower was great, and room spacious and clean.
Set in 10 acres of mature parkland, the site is located on the edge of the village of North Runcton, 1.5 miles from the Hardwick roundabout where the A47, A10, A149 and A17 meet.
Kings Lynn is a town of 2 halves. The modern commercial part is in a sad state at the moment, with the closue of so many shops in recent years, including the huge Debenhams. Regeneration plans are in hand but may take years to be completed.
Look past this though and the old part of town is a medieval gem! If you love history and architecture then you're in for a pleasant surprise. There are 3 museums telling the story of the town (all with very modest admission prices), and you can wander at leisure down streets full of half-rimberd 14th and 15th century dwellings, some with later Georgian frontages. There is also the iconic 17th century Custom House which is worth a quick visit.
When you're done with all that there are plenty of lovely cafes for a spot of lunch - try The Filling Station or Norfolk Bakery for delicious homemade cakes.

Kings Lynn has a poor reputation but we were blown away by the quite extensive historic quarter. Absolutely stunning with so many beautiful old buildings and a rich maritime history. The Hansa house next to the Minster has been faithfully preserved and contains an atmospheric tea room. While it's definitely possible to do old Kings Lynn in a day I would recommend taking a bit more time to really absorb the many things that attract attention as you wander round. A wander round the Walks is also recommended - lovely green space in the centre of town with several historic buildings. All in all, Lynn was a very pleasant surprise.

We were able to walk along the river front and visit the town centre. We visited Trues Yard Fisherfolk museum which was really interesting. Every street in old town had interesting architecture and historic features.

A great place to explore on foot with the beautiful Minster right in the centre, and exceptionally clean pedestrian-friendly streets. Huntstanton, with its gorgeous beaches, is only an hour away by bus. Food options are more limited than you'd get in a big city, but the places we tried (Mem's Kitchen, Bank House) were all very good.

Huge amount of history packed into a small area, easily covered on foot. Beautiful waterfront, old buildings, well signposted. Excellent museums three, and all very different. Plenty of good eating places. Cobbles teashop a delight. Plenty of parking in town centre. Good selection of shops on high street. Very good bus services to surrounding areas.

We were visiting family and also attending a function in Kings Lynn the hotel is very well situated in the centre of the town close to the shops and the historic part of the town
We met with friends in the afternoon and had an enjoyable meal with them at the pub/restaurant attached to the hotel and we all felt it was excellent value for money
The Old rectory is an elegant looking property located on a quiet road 15mins walk through a park from the centre of Kings Lynn. We had room 3 which was quite small and located in the basement of the property with a window looking out onto the steps down to the lower rooms. The entire room and public areas were kept very clean and well decorated. The full english breakfast was freshly cooked and very good. There was easy onsite parking. The staff we met were all lovely.
Well located hotel for visiting Kings Lynn, easy to find with lots of on site parking. Clean modern hotel. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and I had one of the best night's sleep I have ever had in a hotel. Surprisingly quiet despite it's proximity to the Hardwick roundabout. Very efficient and helpful reception. Good breakfast in the restaurant. Overall a very pleasing stay and would come back here if we needed to.
The Feature room we booked was absolutely amazing. It was such a beautiful room with loads of character, history and extremely comfortable and clean. A huge bed. Bathroom was perfect. We loved staying here and glad we stayed in the older part of the hotel and experienced the history and heritage in this building. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We had an amazing time. Excellent location.
It was really tastefully decorated and equipped to a high standard. The room layout over 3 floors worked well for us. It had everything we needed for our stay and was walking distance to the town centre. It had a designated parking spot and the main route in and out of Kings Lynn is easily accessible for travel to other parts of Norfolk. Communication from the owner was excellent.
The location was convenient for arriving in Kings Lynn and for walking through a park to the town centre. The room was a family room and just right for three. The bed was very comfortable, decent sized TV, usb sockets for phone charging, free wifi, free parking on site, ensuite toilet and shower plus tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was good.
First visit to a Wetherspoons hotel and it was great! I was with my nine year old boy on my own visiting friends in nearby Hunstanton. The hotel was clean and well equipt. The pub was really welcoming, bouncers kept it safe and as a women on her own it was just really child. Kids out the bar at 9 but that perfect and as it should be. Would stay again.
lovely setting accessed via a gravel drive, rooms were a good size and the bathroom was larger than expected. Staff were friendly and we met the owner too who was very pleasant. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were excellent and good value. We would definitely return and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Kings Lynn.
Superb location as quiet, but easy walk into town centre where there were many options for an evening meal, which is all that was needed after the outstanding breakfasts at The Lodge
Friendly helpful host and freedom to use our room as much as we needed to. Room clean comfortable and tastefully furnished.
Thank you Sue.
Our room - The Kings Room - was amazing and everything about it was beautiful, comfortable and impressive. All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The location of Bank House is very convenient to all that historical Kings Lynn has to offer. We can definitely highly recommend this hotel.
The Hotel is down a small road that comes to an end at the hotel. While the hotel is not far from the centre, this means it is very quiet and there are no problems with parking. The bar itself was very quiet (not surprising given covid) and I only had a short walk to a nearby pub.
I had a very comfortable stay in St Mary's Lodge, very clean and comfortable, much better than staying in a hotel.
The host were very friendly and helpful and the best part was the amazing breakfast, I would defiantly come back again when visiting Kings Lynn area.
The hotel is very nice with a genuine period feel. The hotel location was excellent but the lack of parking was an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed.
Excellent location entry to hotel and room entry took a bit of getting used to the keypad but once sorted it was fine.
Excellent facilities and Garden very pleasant.
Highly recommend and would stay again when in area.
The breakfasts were copious, and tasty. The staff was friendly. The room was lovely - though very warm during the heat wave! It was a great location for seeing King's Lynn, Castle Rising, the Great Ouse and the sea.
Nice, spacious and quiet twin room with coffee and tea-making amenities (and Netflix). Host was very responsive and accommodating. Location close to train station and a very short walk from Kings Lynn's centre.
Very good position for the town centre, lovely walkway through a Park.
Breakfast was very nicely cooked.
Everything supplied Tea coffee sugar and biscuits.
