The architecture and the restoration of so many beautiful buildings. The history of this town is amazing. It's equally amazing that so many buildings have escaped the wrecking ball and are being restored. I've been to Santa Fe and Taos. Las Vegas is definitely more of what I enjoy in terms of history, food, architecture and incredibly friendly people.

The plaza and the shops around it were interesting. We did not have time to really do more than that. We would have liked the Hot Springs and the Wildlife Refuge. We liked Charlie's Bakery and Olivia's for breakfast.

Las Vegas New Mexico is an unknown gem.
Las Vegas New Mexico is an unknown gem. Approximately an hour away from Santa Fe (which is way more touristic and buzzing) this small town has an interesting history that you can still feel when visiting.
I loved to stay in the hotel with it's nice hotel shop, but also the antique shops are a real treat if you like to wander through history.

There was nothing positive that stood out.
There was nothing positive that stood out. We were there 1 day, thankfully. The hotel has no elevator, breakfast was unappetizing so we went to mcdonalds instead, and the bed was so uncomfortable that I didn’t sleep well at all and my husband slept sitting in the chair instead. We will choose a different hotel if we decide to visit that area again.

Restaurants closed early on Sundays, ended up eating fast food which is not my preference. The KFC ran out of chicken at 7 pm. Only stayed the night, so I don't have much to say I don't plan to stay there again.

We did not have much time to visit Las Vegas since it was just a one night stop on our way back home. What I like about the town was that the hotels were a little more reasonably priced that those in larger cities.
Las Vegas was a little behind in their recovery from Covid and the shops seemed to have suffered from the lack of business as a lot were. Loser.
The lady was very nice when checking in. The room was larger and with a much better floor plan than more expensive hotels. It had a small living room area with a large t.v. that could been seen from the couch and the beds. Very clean too. I do wish there was a shelf for the soap in the shower, but that is the only issue we found. It is a "Mom and Pop" place that takes good care of their facilities.
Loved the hotel feel, the music in the restaurant was awesome! Also, the boutique and option for coffee shop and pastries was nice too. My husband and I especially loved the fact that it didn’t have the bottom line toilet and toilet paper. I know that’s silly but it’s such a nice thing to have. The layout of the hotel was awesome and the features/pictures/furniture throughout was amazing.
People where nice they help us out when booking didn’t send over reservations had to cancel when already paid then pay again booking didn’t cancel me i still paid booking and hotel payed 87$ to booking and then 87$ to Travelodge what can you do for me not happy with your company
I was pleasantly surprised by this budget hotel. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and the room was comfortable. If I'm ever in Las Vegas again, I will be sure to stay at the Super 8!!
love the location, hotel, service and restaurant- friendly staff, felt very comfortable. I especially enjoyed reading about the history, all the paintings and artwork.
Good hotel buffet breakfast. Great linens, towels, and other room amenities. We had not stayed in a Best Western before and now will look for same when we travel.
