The view…the view the view. I had a corner room with double balconies and the view out both huge windows was spectacular. The host was also very sweet and made sure I had what I needed.

Vietri is an ideal staging point for a visit to the Amalfi Coast. Small but big enough to have all the amenities. Good choices of restaurants and cafes. Easy access from transport by train from Naples (nearest airport) or further afield. We travelled from Rome by train into next door Salerno. Great ferry services along the coast are great to use for a lunch or even early dinner and visit to any one of several lovely villages along the coast. Remember all these villages are built on the side of a cliff. Hills and steps are going to be a constant experience! If you like the hills and steps there are great walks in the area which will reward with views like nothing seen before.

Great base away from the madness of the rest of the coast.
Great base away from the madness of the rest of the coast. Train, bus, ferry to everywhere and you come home to a place thats more like a village than a tourist nightmare. Elevator to your beach. Staff are great. Room was good. We were in an upper room away from the functions and disco which was good. ( we went to the disco and had fun and fitted in as 60 yr olds). Loved the place and didn't have to contend with the rest of the mad over crowding of the rest of the coast. And tyhe parking guys are really cool.

Vietri is a very popular seaside town and gets very busy.
Vietri is a very popular seaside town and gets very busy. There are mainly ceramics and some clothing shops. Restaurants are plentiful and very reasonable with the fresh fish dishes excellent. There is also a restaurant which provides Pizza takeaway.
Parking is very difficult as is common on the Amalfi coast. If you take a car try and pre-arrange private parking in advance.
The beach is ok but quite a long downhill walk so the return journey is tedious. We chose to drive to Maori which is much more accessible and a better beach.

This is a wonderful and amazing little getaway nestled into the cliffs that overlook the Mediterranean and the beach below. HIlaria, the hostess is wonderful and helped us arrange tours, recommended restaurants and provided us with a driver for trips around town.
The rooms are large and airy and the bed is SO comfy. There is a full kitchen should you feel the need to cook.
The breakfast buffet is huge with many different options and choices, but the breads and local cheeses and meats were exceptional.
The stairs are steep but there are not nearly as many of them as at other places and the restaurant, Acqua Marina, right at the bottom of the stairs is one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever eaten in (and I'm a Chef).
We've only been home a month and we're already talking about going back next year.

The hotel stay was mediocre.
The hotel stay was mediocre. I highly recommend renting a car. The hotel does not have a shuttle service. We had to take a bus to the hotel once we figured out the system as well as asking locals. That was the worst part. Once we got to the hotel we realized due to its location and proximity in relation to things to do, we were going to have a hard time getting around. Taxis got to be expensive taking them back and forth. The hotel staff was nice for the most part with the exception of one member. She seemed upset there was a language barrier. Overall, the hotel was ok for the cost. I wouldn't stay again, however.

Newly refurbished so the quality of everything is brand new and hotel like but with a lovely character.
Very close to restaurants and lovely shops of Vietri.
The shower is so beautiful and kitchen is fully equipped. 2 spacious bedrooms with beds and desks in both.
Washing machine and big dishwasher and fridge were a big plus. The owners family went out of their way to provide a cot, high chair and toys for our little boy.
The communication with a host was excellent, nothing was a problem. Highly recommend , fantastic stay!
It’s a brand new boutique resort. Exceptionally clean, quite and beautiful place. This place has it all ocean view, car parking and amazing breakfast.
Beds were comfortable, i couldn’t have asked for more. Blue boutique owners, even helped me rent a
Scooter -( Andrea Scooter rental ) was very helpful, made the whole process easy, brought the scooter to the hotel and pick it up when it’s all done, Andrea even helped me to book a personal tour for 2 people for Pompeii and airport drop off.
I would definitely book it again.
This was the perfect location for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Vietre sul Mare is a great spot, quiet and still lots to do. Casa Regina is just 2 doora away from a market to get great supplies, another few doors away from a few morning fish markets. The beach and ferry are just a quick 15 min walk down the hill (uphill on the way back).
The wifi worked great, no issue with any amenities. The apartment was large and spacious. There was everything we needed in the kitchen.
I loved everything.I had a very beautiful view.Very clean and large room, the pool very clean and the view was spectacular. The all staff (Receptionm, restaurant, clean room) very friendly, kind and very attentive to our needs. Is the most beautiful hotel in that area.We were expected with sparkling wine and cakes.Every day the room was clean and I had fresh fruit.Large car park.Congratulations to all, I recommend with confidence!
The house is spacious and comfortable. It is located in a small community just a few minutes outside of Vietri. There is a bar/cafe next door and a couple of small stores nearby. There is a small parking lot in front of the apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. There is a large, modern bathroom with good shower. We enjoyed our stay here in spite of a few minor inconveniences.
Vietri is a lovely town with beautiful shops and excellent restaurants. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the hosts dealt with our questions and helped us find out about places to visit etc
There is a great ferry service to all the main Amalfi coast locations and this is much easier and cheaper than using your car or a taxi.
We love Italy and the Amalfi coast and would visit again.
This place greatly exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed every minute of our stay in Vietri. Our hosts were so nice and accommodating with a welcome cafe and even took our luggage to the train station for us so we did not have to haul it all the way up ourselves. I would come back and stay here every year. We even took a day off sightseeing just to enjoy the huge private terrace (Iris room).
Pepe is the best host we ever had. Always looking to please, super kind and communication was always very easy.
Apartment is super well located in Vietri Sul Mare, 3 min walking distance from the beach.
Apartment is quite spacious, and has everything you need. We are a family of 5 and all was great
Place to recommend to everyone who wants to visit Costiere Amalfitana starting from Vietri
When thinking about La finestra sul mare the first thing which comes to my mind - sweet smell of gardenia when opening the window. The second thing - beautifull tiles in bathroom, this was really the most beautifull bathroom during our trip to Amalfi coast. The host was very kind although we arrived very late and apartments was very spacious.
The location is perfect and very central in beautiful Vietri, close to the beach and the centre of the town! The property is lovely, full of light and extremely clean! The host Saverio is amazing, always very helpful and has the greatest tips for going around the coast. Top property to stay when visiting Vietri!
Very nice and clean small hotel right next to the old cathedral, with a beautiful common rooftop where you can eat/drink while enjoying views of the amalfi coast. The owner is also very nice and friendly and gave me some very nice tips about good restaurants in town.
The Sud Est House was in a perfect location for exploring Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. The village of Molina is lovely, as is Vietri sul Mare. The beds were so comfortable, the shower was hot and water was plentiful and the accommodation more than met our needs.
The breakfast selection was outstanding! Everything was either homemade or done locally.
The room had a great view, AC and a mini fridge as well as being a quite stay.
The host gave us great selection on what to see and what to eat in Vietri.
Clean comfortable and affordable room right in the center of beautiful Vietri sul Mare with a great sea view. Wake up early to see the sun rise over the mountains across the sea. Free parking and breakfast was a big plus!
The hotel was a very beautiful and memorable experience. Everything was very good, the view is one of the best things I have ever seen. It totally deserves to be recommended.
The view from our room was magnificent looking out over the endless sea with a view of Vietri Sul Mare with its decorative duomo dome and the city of Salerno in the distant.
