We needed a place to stay for the night near Stansted. And were very pleasantly surprised. This is a true gem of a hotel. The meals in the restaurant were wonderful and the rooms were very comfy, clean and special. We slept really well. It was our last night of our whirlwind visit to London and Edinburgh and this quaint hotel is certainly up there with the highlights of our stay.

As soon as you arrive the owner is there to greet you and show you to your room and give you all the information about the breakfast room as it’s open 24 hours where you get your own breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast room a great design and so clean.

Very friendly, spacious room for one person, clean, well organized. Simple food but good. Ideal for anyone wanting to be reasonably close to the city but not pay city prices, especially if with a family, who appeared to be very welcome also. As a loan traveler I felt very safe.
