Accommodations in Penrith

The perfect location to break our journey when travelling from our home in North Wales to a holiday in South Scotland. Only 9 miles from Tebay Services, ideal for a quick meal before checking in. Hotel is very new and immaculate.

Breakfast was awesome, as well as the other food I ordered while there. The most solicitous staff and ownership, truly wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommend!

Had a great stay staff excellent.

Extremely homely - thank you! Bed was so comfy and brekkie was local good quality loveliness without any pretension. Thank you for a great stay 😀

The staff, the room, the bar and the breakfast.

All the staff at reception, housekeeping & restaurant, the welcoming hospitality & assistance , the cleanliness of room, the location, the restaurant.

Staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Great craic!

Very nice hotel and bar in the country! Could not be better! perfect bar and perfect people. Food is on a good English level Excellent environment

Easy parking, great restaurant, new clean rooms.

The property was very clean. Having a driveway for parking was extremely useful as was having more than one bathroom.

Our room was detached from the main building. It was quiet and comfortable. Food was very good quality.

We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more. Cleonie is a fantastic host, so helpful and friendly. The overall accommodation has everything you could want, including a decent size fridge, incredibly comfy bed, a little TV and WiFi as well as plenty of pots, plates etc to cook with. It is an amazing location, close to supermarkets and some of the most beautiful parts of the Lakes but is a real tranquil spot - enjoy the hot tub, once you get the hang of it (thanks to Cleonie for showing us to load it full of wood). The best part - the resident goats!!

Quiet area, friendly owners and staff, excellent food

What wasn't there to like... It was exceptional in every way

It's close to the station and the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. I enjoyed the decor, which is inspired by topographical maps. The aromatic steam sauna was especially pleasant. Real nice food, too!

1 Very nice clean cozy rooms. 2 Helpful friendly manager & staff. 3 Great friendly Chefs. 4 Great food using local products.

We had an EXCEPTIONAL experience with Aimee & her team. Aimee went way above & beyond to assist us when a number of things went very sideways with transportation, luggage, logistics & care. Thank you Aimee!!!

Nicely renovated. It had everything you could need. Very well located. All the towels and bedding smelt lovely. The tea/coffee and squash was much appreciated. Good communication with owners. Netflix and books/games a great touch!

A lovely little apartment, clean & comfortable close to shops & restaurants. Traffic can be loud but we were out for most of the day.Would stay here again.

Excellent facilities, spotless really lovely comfortable furnishings.

Fantastic place to stay! Absolutley loved it, The Burrow has everything you need, the bed was sooo comfortable! And its close to any place you want to go. Was a bit worried about the parking but Debbie was very helpful, there is a car park just round the corner on the bus station. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back 😊
