Cheap hotels in Windermere

Great location, friendly staff!

Lovely hotel, quiet location. Breakfast was great.

Our stay at The Angel Inn was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The team working there consists of truly great people who bring such amazing, positive energy to the atmosphere, making us feel completely welcome the moment we walked in. We had a room up on the third floor, and the view was nothing short of amazing it was the perfect sight to wake up to during our trip. The service was consistently excellent across the board, and the breakfast they served was great, setting us up perfectly for our days out. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay with fantastic staff and beautiful views. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The staff were very helpful. My Husband had asked if they could get some flowers and chocolates for when we arrived as it was my birthday. The room was nice and cosy. Breakfast was delicious.

The property was central for our needs and the rooms where very comfortable and clean the restaurant was nice and relaxed atmosphere food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly

Rydal Hall is an excellent value for a multi-day stay. The accommodation was basic and plain, yet comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower provided ample pressure with good temperature control. There is comfortable seating in the lobby and the dining room is spacious and filled with light from large windows. We had breakfasts and dinner during our stay - breakfasts are served buffet-style with an ample array of hot and cold items. Dinners are pre-ordered and served restaurant-style. The dining staff was attentive. The grounds around the building are very well-tended and beautiful. There are very nice walking trails all around the building. Parking is readily available close to the building.

For someone who does not have a vehicle, the location is ideal. It's just around the corner from a Sainsbury's Local, with a Greggs across the street, and other eateries further up the road. Given the location, the price is very nice. Being in the town center, the flat is equidistant for several paths to Lake Windermere, and a short walk to the trail head for Orest Head, as well as to the train/bus station.

Great location near the Main Street.

I really loved our host Dawn. She was lovely and warm. I was extremely delighted with the bath my single room had after a long day of hike. I enjoyed the place. Also, I was allowed to check in early.

This is a great little college in the heart of Windermere. It's equipped with everything you need for self catering, is walking distance to shops and dining, and a short drive to the Lake.

This is a lovely place to spend 1 or several nights. House is immaculately kept and owners are on site and very accommodating. We very much appreciated the effort they put in to a positive guest experience.

Lovely apartment in the center of Windermere Communication with stay. Was really good giving details for checking in and collecting keys. Would definitely stay here again

Good and nice place. Very comfortable. Parking is good.

Th breakfast is great, the staff is lovely and the room just wonderful. I like hotels paying attention to small details.

Lovely building and the room was superb. Lots of attention to detail with furnishings. Bed huge and super comfy. Staff were great and Ian was fantastic with us as we arrived a little early but Ian let us have our room so we could go out around Windermere without having to come back to check in. This was much appreciated.

Enjoyed staying to try local beer and was not disappointed at all. It was also just outside of town, which I found to be incredible.

Super clean and central! Amenities are of a very good quality (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) as well as hot water in the bathroom. No issues at all

The owner of house was so kind, and cozy place

Beautiful place the room was just enough for what we needed would book again

The lodge was so clean and Graham was so kind! Everything was so comfortable, and the included breakfast was the perfect amount for me. Graham also had great recommendations, so I truly appreciated that insight. My room was always nicely cleaned when I returned, and that was nice, especially after hiking all day.
