Loved the accommodation and the area. Spacious comfortable studio with a terrace offering fabulous views of the lake or mountains. Lovely breakfasts, excellent aircon plenty of hot water and a super restaurant below. We eat on three evenings and had great food including one gorgeous veal dish. The owners are very attentive and such lovely people as were all the staff. Great value for money and we will be back. We had a wonderful time despite the extreme heat.

Great value for the price. I especially loved the terrace and sat out there both nights relaxing and people-watching. The room is above a restaurant, and the staff there were really nice and welcoming. There’s also a market right next door, which was super convenient. I really enjoyed the area too—it felt more local and much less crowded than some of the more touristy places I visited.

Nice spot, incredible breakfast

Everything was great the staff where super nice and the location was perfect I love it

I like everything about this property

There are plenty of places with a good view. What impressed me here was everything beyond the view. First, the location is exceptional right on Shirokë's gravel beach and immediately next to the Drini Times kayak rental center. You step outside and you’re essentially already in the neighborhood. The accommodation itself is unusually well finished. The rooms have a beautiful, modern aesthetic, but more importantly, nothing feels flimsy or thrown together. Everything looks and feels solid, new and properly built. The design is clean without becoming sterile, and there’s clearly been attention paid to the details. Then there’s the family running the place. They are genuinely, almost disarmingly friendly. Not the overly polished hospitality you sometimes get in tourist properties much more the feeling that someone is happy to have you around. Within a short time, I felt less like a customer and more like someone who had simply become part of the neighborhood. One detail I particularly appreciated: the owner runs a small shop within the accommodation, and the prices are essentially supermarket prices. No tourist markup, no feeling that convenience comes at a premium. For me, that combination is what makes Lake View stand out: a fantastic location, excellent modern rooms, honest pricing and hospitality that feels genuinely personal. You can tell when a place is being run with pride, and this is one of those places.

The restaurant is one of the best dining experiences in Albania.

נוף מהמם, שירות אדיב וטוב, ארוחת בוקר טובה,בריכה עם נוף, מאוד ממליצה לאכול במסעדה שלהם גם בערב, הדג לברק מעולה

This hotel, situated on a hillside, boasts stunning views. The staff were kind throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options. A huge benefit of the off-season was that the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were not too busy with guests and very relaxing. We also enjoyed the ping pong and a billiard table (which was a little old and uneven, but fun nonetheless!). Our room was clean and comfortable and the sunrise from the balcony was beautiful. A minor caution: the bathroom lacks a shower curtain, so the floor gets wet easily. A major highlight was dinner at the hotel restaurant: the baked sea bass and vegetables were outstanding—easily one of our top three meals in Albania. We also enjoyed seeing a few charming cats roaming the property. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxing, though it is slightly removed from the town center, so a car is necessary. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very cosy place with pool, jacuzzi, games room and kids playground, lovely view from the room and the restaurant, very quiet.

We enjoyed the room that was amazing, the view. The director was really kind. The breakfast was also good . With beautiful environnement. We liked the fact that the hotel was suporting Ukraine .

Good hospitality, very good conditions, very tasty breakfast, very good view of the lake. Everything was perfect

We book the room on the last minute and The owners of the place were very kind and friendly 😊 they doesn't rush with the payment and they trust us that we going to pay in the c/o. Also they give as a little traditional gift from the place 🎁 The breakfast was good, The hotel suggests free parking at the back, free Wi-Fi. Highly recommend 🙏

For those visiting Shkoder, the main attraction for tourists may be the Rozafa Fortress, which overlooks the Buna River to the south of the city. This lodging is very conveniently located on the southern end of Shkoder and is within walking distance to the fortress. It is also about 1-2 km from the center of Shkoder where many buses and shuttles pick up passengers. For example, my shuttle to Theth departed from the center. My shuttle to Bar, Montenegro, also departed from the center. While there is a bar and restaurant on the first floor, I heard no noise upstairs on the (American) second floor where the rooms were. The room was extremely clean with modern decor. The bathroom and toilet were down the hall and were clean as well.

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! A big thank you to Anil and Gladys for their warm hospitality! They were both incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming place to stay.

It looks like a hotel on a highway from outside but everything was great. The stuff was talking perfect English and he was so helpful. Sheets were extremly clean. Beds were so comfortable. Room was clean. They have a restaurant as well. Parking lot is big. It is a very effective stop on our way from Albania to Montenegro.

Clean room's friendly. Staff excellent 👌🏻
