Grossarl is a booming ski town but in June 2023 the part west of the river was essentially a huge building site. However it was great for mountain walking once away from the town itself. Very friendly and supportive staff. The hotel rooms look newly renewed, the beds are comfortable and the sceneries in the mountain valley are breathtaking. The staff is friendly and very supportive, they go above and beyond when it comes to helping their guests. There was a mix-up with the room I had booked and the room I was checked into. But the staff quickly found a solution to offer us the best solution. Even at the breakfast, the staff makes sure that all the guest have what they need. The room was spacious and cozy, with kitchen and dinner table, perfect if youlike to cook at home. We enjoyed the garden during the warm summer evenings. The location is a 20 minute walk from Grossarl centre, and with a bus stop just outside the door. To conclude it was a perfect, simple but cozy and had everything we needed. Great breakfast choices too. Location perfect for skiing, a free ski bus stops right outside the hotel every 15 mins and takes you straight to the slopes. Flat was more than big enough for us (2 adults, 2 kids). You can store bikes in basement and park the car in the garage. To Panoramabahn it is 5 minutes by walk.
