Surrounded by views of the mountain, DOLPHIN LOOKOUT COTTAGE - amazing views of the Bay of Fires is a sustainable vacation home in Binalong Bay, offering guests an environmentally friendly...

Our family of 4 stayed two nights at the cottage. The first thing that struck us was the beautiful view, with the balcony bathing in the beautiful sunset and a clear view of the fantastic beach below. The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was well-furnished with quality cabinetry and cooking facilities. The living room was very homely, with large comfortable sofa, dining table and cosy lighting. It was truly a great holiday home to unwind in, and I could imagine staying here to destress and meditate. Another big plus was its proximity to the beach where we had great time jumping from one red rock to another.

Surrounded by views of the garden, BINALONG BRAE @ Bay of Fires Two bedroom both with ensuites is a sustainable vacation home in Binalong Bay, offering guests an environmentally friendly accommodation...

I loved everything about this property. It was in a perfect location, within the small community of Binalong Bay. The beaches are to die for. It was in the perfect spot to explore the Bay of Fire beaches. There is also a great restaurant nearby. The house is either brand new or very close to it. it had water views. it had a large balcony with a bbq and tables and chairs. It had a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. There was nothing to fault. I could easily come back regularly and hope to do so.

Binalong Bay is a small holiday place which lots of folk visit however there are no shops. We visited there because we could be self sufficient and shopped accordingly in St Helens before travelling to Binalong.

We drove to Bay of Fires and a local winery (Priory Wines - bought their Pinot Noir). Dinner at Parkside Bar and Kitchen, brunch at The Lifebuoy Cafe, Party at The Social, Karaoke Bar (Kazzbar) in St Helens. No complaints about the food or the atmosphere. On the last night pizzas from "Meresta" in Binalong. Very nice. Shopped in most of the gift shops and the markets. Friendly staff everywhere. Blessed with the best weather.

Lovely home, plenty of room and everything that you needed...

Lovely home, plenty of room and everything that you needed was there. However there were many steep stairs to access the house from both the front and the back. Quite a mission getting suitcases and gear up into. Once there was great. Lovely view, had hoped for a sunset but it didn't happen whilst we were there. We ate at the local restaurant one night, which was great, but drove there as the property is up a steep hill, not appealing for returning at night. Found a lovely restaurant at the Big 10 motorcamp at St Helens, view of the bay and stunning meals. You need a car to get around. Beautiful white sand beaches and stunning clear sea water.

Amazing views down along the coast line. Well decorated, beautifully clean holiday house, with all that you could wish to make a perfect stay, even had 2 bikes and 2 helmets for your use if you wished. Full bathroom and laundry facilities. Beautiful beach walks! Excellent host who gave us good directions to get to the house and then followed up to make sure everything was ok. Would certainly come back!

If you want a quiet holiday by the beach this is the place for you. Tasmania is warm in summer and cold in winter so a beach holiday is best in the summer months of the Southern Hemisphere...Late December to Mid March. The house is well set up and will accommodate a large family, is clean and tidy. Everything you need is provided.
