United StatesThis was my second visit and I’ll be back. It’s a really relaxing retreat from life. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, staff is very welcoming. Each time I have visited has been for 2 nights, and I only left to grab a meal or food to bring back - so I can’t speak to the nearby beaches, etc. But there is a little shopping village in Peregian a few minutes away with great shops and restaurants and a market.

Lifesavers were vigilant but didn't overdo load hailer demands for body surfers to move back to between the flags
Local cafes and surf club were excellent, we ate out every morning and night

Great surf beach with patrolled swimming area.
Great surf beach with patrolled swimming area. Stumer Creek is an off leash dog area. There is a great boardwalk that leads south up to the Point, which is a lovely walk. If you continue on from Point Arkwright, you will get to a great bush trail that leads to the point overlooking Yaroomba Beach. It is only 2.5km walk from Coolum Surf Life Saving Club. If you walk north, you will reach Peregian Beach which is about 5km up the road/along the beach. There are plenty of great places for food in Coolum and check out the Opp Shops for some great bargains. Coolum is reasonably flat, so leave the car at your holiday apartment and walk everywhere.

Great to have a nice selection of shops, food options and cafes along the beach. Great fish and chips takeaway to eat on the beach. As it was winter, it was a good location for walking on the beach, walking around the rocky headlands on the boardwalks, admiring the view out to sea. Lots of families and people walking dogs enjoying the amazing location.

The complex is very big, so some positions are better than others. I don't know how the apartments are allocated on booking. Ours had a lovely outlook onto the lovely gardens and we were away from the busy noisy main road, but not all apartments have that outlook.
The 1 bedroom apt was very good, not really spacious but adequate.
The location is excellent, walking distance to food and beach.
The bed was not very comfortable, it was quite old and really needs to be replaced.

Try Coolum Hotel for your meals. A pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. The Surf Club would have been our second choice.
Has all necessary amenities.

It's a beautiful beach, the boardwalk area is good, the surf club was welcoming, we had dinner on the balcony.
We had a brilliant breakfast at the Coolum Beach Bar- great coffee, eggs, smoothies - staff are friendly - location excellent - photo attached.
Dinner at the Canteen Kitchen - expensive for the portion sizes
There are plenty of coffee, eating nooks and pastries
Families and dog walkers were welcomed everywhere.
The beach was clean and easy to access from where we stayed.

We recently stayed at The Palms in Coolum Beach and had a fantastic time. The location is amazing - walking distance to everything. We love how pet friendly the property is and how close the off-leash dog beach was. The house was beautiful and clean. It was fantastic that it had 2 separate levels as it gave us all our own space - very important when holidaying with extended family hahaha. The communication with the management team was prompt and very friendly.

Great location and amenities. Straight across from Coolum Beach so it was lovely to be able to walk along the beach morning and night and there were some lovely places to eat nearby. The decor was just lovely, really comfy bed and big bathroom. Having a washer and dryer was also very helpful.

Loved the spaciousness and lay out of our apartment. Loved that we had the choice to cook in our own kitchen or dine out at restaurants. Fantastic location, a quick walk down to Coolum beach, restaurants and shops.
Definitely staying here again next year!
