The staff, especially, were warm, friendly and very helpful. The courtesy shuttle service into the townsite, excellent. Lovely 2 bedroom apartment, very well fitted out. Balcony view of the property, pool, ocean ... perfect!
Offering an outdoor pool and year-round outdoor pool, Potshot Hotel Resort is located in Exmouth. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. The very simple motel-like rooms are decent value for the money, but their restaurant and bar totally exceed expectations in terms of quality of food and drinks. One has to try their fish and chips!

Staff friendly at the Bar and Bistro Bar and Bistro was brilliant we ate here twice and the food was delicious and very well priced. This would be a great little place if the new owners can get some improvements done.
We loved Exmouth. We spent a week and a half travelling by road up the west coast and stayed several places on the way. Exmouth was the jewel of the trip. Highly recommend. Plenty of beautiful places to visit by day and nice restaurants and bars in the evening. Would highly recommend Whalers restaurant. Food was amazing and the staff a delight.
Wonderful holiday destination. Whether you want to sightseeing, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing, or doing nothing but lay on the beach. You should put Exmouth into your pocket list. You can swim with the whale shark or whale watching during winter time. Try to avoid summer, because sometimes can be very hot.
My husband enjoyed swimming with the whales. I did the glass bottom boat tour that included 1 dive. The skipper was very informative and had great knowledge of the coral and fish. I highly recommend this tour. If you book tours you will be collected from your accommodation so no need for a car. However, with a car you can visit the shopping sq, lighthouse area and some of the swimming/diving areas yourself.
My favourite place ever! It was my first time going and I loved it! We wre from Mandurah so was a little long of a drive but was relaxing! We stayed at Mantarays for one night, camped at Yardie Creek and stayed at Potshot for the rest, was great to stay at different places I would definitely recommend it! We loved our fish and chips from Bluelips, visited the Ningaloo bakehouse everyday and grabbed something to eat for our driving trips! We ate at Whalers restaurant which was also amazing! We drove out to all the amazing beaches each day. Our favourite spot was Turquoise Bay and Oyster Stacks to snorkel! Yardie Creek is a great place to camp and provides that little bit of shade you need in the hot weather! We were going to do the swim with whale sharks but thought we’d save that until next time! Only thing I was sad about is that they stopped the scooter hire! Which we heard about and were very keen to do instead of driving everyday.
Very remote town but good base for exploring Ningaloo reef and the whale sharks.IGA supermarket,.post office, pharmacy and excellent bakery but not a lot else.Watch out for the emus walking down the main road!
Exmouth is quite a small town but has everything you need. The town is very easy to navigate. There are numerous restaurants and take away spots to choose from. Going into the Cape Range National Park is a must. Just simply beautiful! The resident Emu's make the stay cheerfully.

The bed was very comfortable, and all of the facilities were nice and clean. It is a well maintained property with friendly staff. It is a bit out of the center of Exmouth, but still within walking distance to the grocery store and main restaurant area (about a 15-20 minute walk). It has a nice pool area and laundry and kitchen facilities on site. You can rent a box with kitchen supplies for $5. I'd happily stay here again.
