It was so quiet, neat and tidy and the bedding was comfortable. Kitchen was very clean and cupboards extremely neat.
Breakfast provided was good, although could have been a bit more generous with eggs provided.
Beds were comfortable and the bedding etc was clean. Pillows were great too!
It was fabulous to be made aware of the electricity restrictions prior to arrival. Instructions re use of heating and oven were clear. Beth was great at responding to messages and queries before our stay also.
How beautiful to wake up to bird life. Gorgeous environment.

Goolwa has a lot of lovely old buildings in addition to the more modern ones. We attended a market near the waterfront which was great to attend. There were lots of good crafts on offer.
We went onto Hindmarsh Island which gave a good view of the Murray river mouth. We also went to the barrage. It is accessible until 4.00. You can walk out accross the barrage and watch Pelicans and other birds feed off the fish that came through the barrage. There was also a few seals basking in the sun at the barrage lock. Most enjoyable.

Goolwa is a lovely town with many old buildings dating back to the 1850’s and very well preserved. The Spirit of the Coorong boat trip is excellent. Great value and an amazing journey, captain and crew very knowledgeable. Interesting to find out how the Murray mouth is managed and the beautiful wildlife and vegetation that are protected. An insight into native Australian history including a welcome to country.

Great little town with beautiful little historic stone cottages. Nice and quiet with some nice little shops and some great eateries including Mother Duck which we always visit and a Thai restaurant. Love the native birds where we stayed as well. Would have gone to the beach if we had more time. Close to other great little towns like Port Elliot and Middleton.

Only a minute by car to Main Street .
Only a minute by car to Main Street . Takeaway foods and 2 pubs . Could walk if fit. Lots to see in local wharf area . Nearby drive to shopping mall . Stroll the little shops as you walk to wharf . Fish and chips excellent at nearest shop on the main road . Few nice shops for tourists to browse . An olde worlde feel to the town. It’s close to Victor Harbour for serious sightseeing /tourism . Visit Granite Island and see the draught horse drawn carriage . Plenty of street parking then walk to lunch , plenty of choices .

Some limited high quality dinner dining, although the Thai is very good. Not far to drive to Victor but again limited excellent dining options. Loved Ninos.
Plenty to do and see, and walk and relax.
Convenient for grocery, chemist and most other retail requirements. Beauty spa if book ahead in high season.
Cinema at VH but not 7 days.
Historic and cultural experiences abound.
We had a fabulous relaxing long weekend break, on the Swamp Fox. A unique experience, fantastic uninterrupted views of river life and nature. Very comfortable and well appointed accommodation. Excellent outdoor and indoor areas to enjoy the views . Short walk to the wharf and into Goolwa Main Street but private and very quiet for a good night’s sleep. Would definitely stay again!
Baronet B&B was a great place to stay. It was wery clean and tidy with all amenities. Perfect for the weekend or an extended holiday. The house is spacious and has all the amenities needed during the stay.

I would highly recommend Baronet B&B to anyone wanting to explore the Goolwa and Victor Harbour region.
Absolutely gorgeous cottage. Well stocked kitchen with all the essentials. Very comfortable beds. Gorgeous garden. Fantastic location with easy walking into and around Goolwa. And we
Were greater with a bottle of wine and savoury popcorn.
Very family friendly too with darts, table tennis, some bikes with helmets, full baby and toddler set up too.
Lovely cottage in the heart of Goolwa. You are within walking distance of everything in the town, but this is hardly needed as everything conceivable was provided. There were nice little touches like fruit in a bowl and a range of breakfast cereals provided. We will definately be coming back.
Located close to the local pub (who do an excellent parma on friday nights Lamb/Beef/Chicken)
and two minutes walk from the Goolwa Centenary Hall where Kevin Bloody Wilson and Jenny Talia from Australia performed.
Very Handy Location, Off Street Parking.
A quaint little cottage. Loved the outdoor room for relaxing and great for your pet. Nice deep bath tub . Very clean ,easy walk to the town and riverfront . The house smelt lovely when we walked in. Would happily recommend this place.

Great central spot for exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula
The service was excellent, there was an issue with the hot water which we were told about straight away, poor man was trying to get it fixed on a public holiday. We had hot water for a shower which was good
The set-up of the Barge exceeded our expectations. To watch the flow of the river and its inhabitants was truly magical. We wished we had booked for longer - it really was the highlight of the holiday.
Very comfortable home away from home. Everything I needed was there.
Good restaurants nearby. Thai restaurant inGoolwa was excellent. As was the Goolwa Hotel. On holiday we like to mostly dine out.
We don't usually stay in cabins, but we were pleasantly surprised - it was new, clean, light and airy. Everything we needed was provided - including a dishwasher - excellent!
Very nice, clean, well decorated and cosy unit. Good value for money and the host is very well communicating. Close to shop and few mins drive to Goolwa beach.
Very clean and comfortable self contained cottage very close to the Goolwa town centre - just metres from an excellent bakery that sold gluten free products.
