The location is unique and special, located on an enormous privately-owned reserve near Turon National Forest. There really aren't many like this in the world. If you ever wanted to spend time in a remote section of an Australian forest, you couldn't find a much better choice than this. The wildlife is abundant, the scenery is mind-boggling, and you can completely disconnect from the outside world (you pretty much have to, because there is no internet or mobile phone service in the valley). The cabin was rustic, but very comfortable and with a good kitchen to cook in. The wood stove kept the house warm even on a night that got down to 5C, and the Kookaburras that woke us at dawn each morning were a delight.
