Mooloolaba has some good shops and plenty of places to eat.
Mooloolaba has some good shops and plenty of places to eat. The main access roads are behind the appartments, away from the beach so the road infront of the apartments/shops/beach is quiet during the evenings. It gives it a nicer pedestrian feel and things are easy to access. There is a great beach front linking cycle/pedstrian path that goes a good 20km from Mooloolaba north up to Alexandra Headlands and south.

Go and visit the new Casita Mediterranean wine bar!
Go and visit the new Casita Mediterranean wine bar! Open Wed-Sun from 2-10pm but should book if going later in the day. We also did a seafood lunch cruise with Seafood Cruise Mooloolaba which was excellent and great value. If you are savouring fish and chips go right to the end of the Spit. Can recommend Sakana Sushi Bar and Restaurant on the Spit also. Lots to choose from whatever food tickles your fancy.

Mooloolaba is always a lovely place to visit (as long as it is NOT during any school holidays when it is way too busy). The beach area is well maintained and the ocean-front restaurants, bars, shops (both clothing and icecream!) The recently refurbished entertainment region (formerly the caravan park) at the northern end of the beach is a credit to the council with many swings, play equipment, tables & chairs plus BBQ's and change rooms, all set out in the landscaped area at the base of the walk up to Alexandra Headlands from which the ocean views are magnificent.

Love the location, with beautiful beaches, and marina nearby. Short drive to Australia Zoo and Glass House mountains. Not too busy compared to other nearby beach towns. Reasonably priced restaurants.

Mooloolaba has all the attrractions for a family with young and teenage children plus athletes and pleasant walks for seniours. The cafes and restaurants are plentiful as is the variety and choices of food - all at reasobale prices. There is an abandance of water sports and boating opportunities in the area and the fishing is good too.
There are any number of accommodation choices in the general area and there are good options for exploring the outer regions using tour operator trips or self-drive journeys.

The Mantra was a wonderful place to stay in Mooloolaba - the apartment had 2 bedrooms and was on a high floor overlooking the ocean and down towards the wharf. It was great proximity to the swimming beach, the shops and restaurants were right below. The pool was fabulous although very windy but that's more about mother nature than the Mantra :). The apartment was modern, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. When we had AC issues - it was fixed by the time we were back in the room.
This property is in a prime location on the Esplanade at Mooloolaba, just a walk across the road to beautiful Mooloolaba Beach. Facilities include a gym and a pool with jacuzzi downstairs as well as a rooftop barbecue and jacuzzi with 360 degree views. There is also a day spa on the premises if you feel like spoiling yourself, although we didn’t avail ourselves of it.
Great accommodation near to the main Beach Esplanade of Mooloolaba. Many bars, restaurants and holiday shopping businesses within an easy walk as was Supermarket, Chemist, Bottle Shop and Pub. Very little traffic noise even though the road outside is quite busy. Alexandra Headland and Maroochydore a short drive away
The room was beautiful and clean. We highly enjoyed the pool and spa. Also, being right across the road from the beach and having the shops all in walking distance was really convenient. Highly recommend Mantra Mooloolaba 😊
Location was excellent- one street back from Esplanade and able to walk to Mooloolaba strip easily. The staff were just lovely people and so very helpful and friendly. The 1 bed apt with partial view was nice and roomy.
