This is the first booking property where I really fell at home . The wood floors , the cozy atmosphere, the individual windows and the lovely terrace made this „ treehouse „ fur ne a magical experience . This is the kind of place where you want to write your novel to the sounds of the lazy ocean in the background . Tranquility, privacy . Unfortunately I could not prolong my stay - since it was booked . Could have easily spent a month there . No bad chemical smells , or mold . Just home .!

The location was fantastic and close to everything, we went down the 4wd track to the secluded beach to watch the full moon rise and it was spectacular! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, it was a great holiday all around :)

Position on the waterfront surrounded by native flora and some exotic which harboured so much wildlife. Over 40 species of birds, 1 male buck Eastern Grey Kangaroo on the grass next to the house, 1 Echidna ambling around the outside of the house. Closeness to walk to the foreshore and shops and pub. so beautiful. Thank you. Great for my elderly friend to play games and create art. Thank you so much. Loved the Eco tour by a talented and caring local too.

    Calm, quiet, full of wildlife, views forever, lovely locals, plenty to do. Created lots of artworks here. Over 40 species of birds, 1 big buck male Kangaroo, 2 echidnas, awesome eco tour, super lovely volunteers at the Museum and Information center in Agnes Waters.

    Seventeen Seventy is a characterful little place, just across the hill from Agnes Water. The beach is lovely, and there is easy access to the marina, for boat trips. There are a couple of restaurants and bars and a very relaxed vibe.

    Seventeen seventy has one of the most picturesque waterways & the most brilliant sunsets you’d see anywhere. We had a nice lunch & good glass of wine, served from a bottle not cask at the Tree Bar & visited the gin distillery & nursery where we learnt a lot about their product & we bought a lovely rose from their nursery.

    This was a chosen stop-off on our route from Brisbane to Cairns. Decided to stay two nights to enable us to scuba dive with Dive.Spear.Sport ; a very professional dive operator with a fantastic five boat.

    We visited outside of school holidays and peak season and...

    We visited outside of school holidays and peak season and found the front area with a comfortable level of people. With our accommodation centrally located, we could walk to the boat ramp, get a coffee, walk along the paths through foreshore parks and enjoy the views. The Tree Hotel on the corner was a good place to sit and have a few drinks and it was also easy to walk down and throw a line in of a morning.

    The location: gold! Best way to enjoy 1770/Agnes Water. Walking distance from the marina, hotel and beach = forget about your car 90% of the time! We had a very good deal with Genius and by using the Visa booking partner program (type 'Visa booking.com' in Google) to get a $160 cashback. It makes the property very affordable! Oh, btw, the King Bed is a killer!

    The views from the balcony were amazing and the sunsets were the best. Loved the hammock on the balcony although I think the kids spent more time in it than we did! The place has a tropical vibe and is a nice change from run of the mill apartments and hotels. Nicole was super lovely and very accomodating - a great host.

    Great location with fabulous view of the water and the mountains. A perfect spot for an afternoon drink. Close to a few local restaurants and hotel. Nice walking trail along the waters edge. Convenient for boat trips to the island.
