Set on 30-acres of natural bush land, just 5 minutes' drive from Stanthorpe, Granite Belt Retreat and Brewery features 19 private cedar cabins, 1000 liter micro brewery plus a bar, restaurant and... The little hamper of goodies for breakfast on arrival was lovely. The staff were fantastic and extraordinarily helpful. We loved getting away and being “unplugged” for a couple of days. Cabin, was lovely and homey and not to close or others. We really loved our little getaway!
Nestled along the scenic Quart Pot Creek, Boulevard Motel offers room with views of parkland. A 5-minute drive from the Stanthorpe Airport, it offers free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. Lovely bright and airy room with a view. Bathroom was recently updated and the shower and the towels were excellent. Bedding was top notch we slept well,
Featuring free WiFi and free parking, Apple & Grape Motel is located in the center of Stanthorpe, 1 minute's walk from the local shops, restaurants and cafes. All rooms offer a flat-screen TV. All of the above I was luck enough to have one of the renovated rooms, others in my party were not. The location was great. I found the facilities easy to use.
Located in Stanthorpe in the Queensland region, Atricom provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. We loved everything about our stay. The place was clean and tidy, the apartment had everything we needed. So cosy and lovely space for our weekend away with our friends
Set on 10 acres and offering a free light continental breakfast, 31 The Rocks is located in the Granite Belt Region, famous for its wines. All villas offer a fireplace, a balcony and a kitchenette. Debbie and Scott were absolutely fantastic. Extremely friendly hosts, delicious food and a very comfortable and well appointed cabin.
Boasting free Wi-Fi and a saltwater swimming pool surrounded by landscaped gardens, Stannum Lodge Motor Inn is just 4 minutes’ drive from the Stanthorpe Heritage Museum. I liked the location, the quietness, how spacious the room was. The room had all the amenities that we needed which helped us decided what we didn't have to pack. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a couch in the room that we liked as we didn't have to sit on the bed to watch the TV.
Great cafe's with gluten free and plant based options. Beautiful scenery and close to spectacular national parks. Wineries everywhere and a short drive to other quaint towns. Great accommodation options from motels to BnB's. A great place to unwind and take a breath of super fresh air.
The town is very cute and country. Lots of friendly people and nice bakeries, as well as a few of the bigger chain fast food restaurants around town as well. Most things to see are driving distance, however the walk along the river is beautiful and the scenery is lovely. Under the railway bridge is a highlight, such a stunning place to see. Definitely a good base to stay to see the rest of the area.
Nice old town with some classic buildings, beautiful lake and park on entry. Very disappointed the place was mostly closed in the evening, especially on a Saturday night, not much of a choice of eateries apart from a club and pubs open. Not much to do in town, main reason for a visit is to go to the many vineyards in the area and of course buy fruit especially apples. Very cold in winter.
Unfortunately Qld was in the middle of a huge weather event and it had turned cold & grey. It was very windy and drizzling rain for the majority of the visit. Good shopping & great pubs. Easy to get around & find everything.
Stanthorpe itself is a great place to visit, but Glenlyon Cottage is about 70 km outside Stanthorpe. A very scenic picturesque drive that goes quickly. Once on the property of 150 acres, there is lots to see & do. The cottage overlooks the top end of Glenlyon Dam with lots of flora & fauna to discover. The farm has lots of animals to watch & feed, mostly rarebreed critters, so you won't find them everywhere. Judy & Richie are excellent hosts with lots of information to share. Great country food to indulge in. It was not cold enough for us to use the fireplace, but the cottage would surely be cosy in cold weather.
So many cafes with great food for everyone! The gift shop was amazing and the people were lovely in there! However the pharmacy and a few pubs were not welcoming at all! Would have thought especially after the floods tourists would be welcomed to spend money to support small towns but the attitude and looks we received really made us not want to go back. Bad day or not, put a smile on your face with customers willing to spend money to support locally! From someone who travels quite a lot just for experience of checking out small towns and what they have to offer with history and old school Service, we will not be back!
We stayed in the two bedroom suite, with each bedroom having a queen bed. Each room had a smart TV as well as the lounge/kitchen area. Well decorated and designed and exceptionally clean. Large modern bathroom with rain shower and normal shower options. Good location for easy access to Stanthorpe township and Granite Belt exploration. Undercover car parks good too.
we stayed in the 3 bedroom house with our 2 kids and our dog. It felt spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Nice view over the dam, had a great wine tasting and kids loved feeding the goats. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Central location in terms of Stanthorpe town, Ballandean wineries and the apple/cheese shops/wineries north of town.
Everything was perfect. The location away from the town was perfect. The host, Madeleine was so accommodating, friendly and really knew the area. She was a pleasure to have as the host. Breakfast was a full breakfast and different each morning. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Big Fella next time we come to Stanthorpe.
We have visited Stanthorpe a number of times but loved this home the best. It was close to town and we were able to walk around the paths and the back deck had a great outlook onto the creek / where we enjoyed afternoon apertivo 😊 It was immaculately clean and the attention to detail was spot on. Everything we needed , was there.
Cabins had everything we needed and more, we’re well appointed and very clean. Situated on the waters edge of a picturesque dam the outlook was outstanding. We had a great couple of nights with all the family and enjoyed the location, the fireplace was well stocked with wood and kept us warm throughout the cold weather.
The cottage was perfect for my family, including our greyhound, Harley. Everything was clean, well-appointed and comfortable, and the cottage was close to Stanthorpe town centre. We didn’t notice any traffic noise, and Debbie was very easy to contact.
It was the perfect place to relax. Loved the little welcoming touches, the fluffy robes and fireplace, and great it is pet friendly. Highly recommend! Wonderful stay to explore Stanthorpe and the granite belt region.
The breakfast was amazing. Very delicious. The food and milk were of very good quality. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable. The cottage was equipped with lots of information about the Stanthorpe area.
Amazing location, right in the heart of Stanthorpe. incredibly spacious bedroom and living area! The beds were so comfortable and Robert was a great host! Wished we had booked longer!
A cosy cottage for two enjoyable cold winter nights in Stanthorpe. The owners of Whiskey Gully Wines are wonderful hosts ensuring you have everything you need without being intrusive.
Staff were exceptional, cabins are comfortable and the location is fantastic. The breakfast hamper provided is really great with amazing freshly baked bread and local produce.
Very efficient check-in with communication via texts including passcode for door. Quiet apartment. Suited my family’s needs. Beds were super comfy.
beautiful, property with tasteful and clean cottages. feels secluded yet only minutes from Stanthorpe. in short - simply magnificent!
The hotel is well maintained, clean, comfortable and is close to town. The park located across the road is a delightful space...
Just stop over in Stanthorpe, this place is good enough. Shower is comfortable.
All of the above I was luck enough to have one of the renovated rooms, others in my party were not. The location was great. I found the facilities easy to use.
