The house and environment but in particular the generosity of hosts Shelley and Andrew. Nothing was too much trouble and Shelley showed a genuine interest in and friendliness guests. Breakfast was very nice and a treat to have a hot breakfast. Pookie(the dog) was an added bonus.

Plenty of Winery and Restaurant options with those we visited all very well presented. Meteora - New and just lovely - Inside or outside dining of high-quality food and service with a very modern outlook. Highly recommend, with menu options for all budgets. Favorite winery was Symphony Hill. Has great presentation and styling with staff that were spot on.

Stanthorpe is an amazing town, with so much to see and do.

Stanthorpe is an amazing town, with so much to see and do. It's not only wineries and breweries which are awesome but also cheese truffles and apple pie. There's also beautiful national parks which we're looking forward to visiting on our next trip!!

If you visit Stanthorpe out of peak season - the wineries...

If you visit Stanthorpe out of peak season - the wineries and tours may not be running ! Its a beautiful location - but be prepared to organise your own trips and food as not all venues operate on Mon Tues Weds out of season

A really lovely place that has more going on than first...

A really lovely place that has more going on than first meets the eye! Excellent tourist information provided details of LOTS of activities and places to visit. We enjoyed great bush walks amongst the huge granite boulders, beautiful sunsets with local wine and even a trip to the year long Christmas farm complete with reindeers, donkeys and Christmas treats. Lovely place for a long weekend - we will be back

Stanthorpe was fabulous for a mid-week stay.

Stanthorpe was fabulous for a mid-week stay. We enjoyed the town itself and the various attractions of the area. There were so many wineries and the local produce was exceptional. A visit to Stanthorpe Cheeses and the Christmas Tree Farm are a must.

The town of Stanthorpe has a friendly vibe.

The town of Stanthorpe has a friendly vibe. It is clean and interesting to explore. The main attraxtiin has to be the nearby Natural Parks. Spend at least 3 days exploring. Pack for a cold time, especially if you are a Queenslander. Recommended for everyone. Its a kind of go at your own pace place. Slow down and enjoy.

Doesn’t look much from the exterior c1874 but inside it has been done up very nicely- very comfortable and lovely bedding w an open fireplace and plenty of wood. A very comfortable stay and central to Stanthorpe restaurants and cafes.
