The cabins were spacious and very clean. Loved the location as it is right on the water's edge of the dam. I liked that the cabins weren't too close to each other, and they were positioned at angles that you're not looking into each other's windows. The fire kept us warm day and night. It was so nice that we didn't need to worry about wood for the fire either. We liked it was away from the Town but only 10 minutes away if we needed it and it was central around lots of National Parks for walks.

Wineries, everywhere!

Wineries, everywhere! The Big Apple, Stanthorpe Cheese, Ashbern Farms and lookouts. We had breakfast at the Little Larder, dinner at Hanasaku Japanese Restaurant, lunch at Granite Belt Brewery, all good. Here, a vehicle is essential to get to all of the places, wineries, which a responsible designated driver is a must. Too many tastings can tip you over the limit. The main street, Maryland St, can be busy on the weekend, but don't miss out on visiting the information centre on Leslie Parade, for your activities, beautiful park, quack quacks and the Big Thermometer.

Stanthorpe is a cute town with lots to do....

Stanthorpe is a cute town with lots to do.... Visit the giant apple, the big thermometer and the big windmill. The Christmas Farm was amazing, and there are multiple places to pick fruit (strawberries, blueberries and cherries) near by.

The Granite Belt is a beautiful place to explore!!! You can't replicate that kind of natural beauty. There are plenty of things you can fit into one day and other things you can spend a whole day visiting. We loved the Granite Belt Christmas farm and Aloomba Lavender farm!!!

Travelled up for the plant event at the showgrounds. Plant event was far smaller than I expected and I wont travel the distance for that again, but we found other enjoyable things to do in Stanthorpe. We had expected the plant event would take half of one day and then the half of the next, but we were through in about 2 hours.

Great place to stop on a long road trip to break up the Journey. We picked some strawberrys on a nearby farm, on the morning we left...they were great. We bought pantry goods form several places. This is an excellent place to try out the local produce. We would stop here again.

Lovely atmosphere, great food and things to do. Recommendations include the Suttons farm, the Christmas farm, the steakhouse and the rock and roll diner on the main steet for food with varying prices and menu, but all lovely food.

What a beautiful, homely space on the outskirts of Stanthorpe. Our room had a beautiful view over a paddock and just a short walk to a beautiful creek. I loved sitting at the picnic tables, working during the afternoon. The room was well equipped and the kitchen had everything needed to cook and prepare meals with. I loved the peacefulness of the entire park.

The cottage was very cute and cosy. It had everything we needed for a short stay. There were beautiful touches and Maryann and Cam were lovely. The location was great, just out of town so it was nice and peaceful but also very close to all the different Stanthorpe activities. Dog friendly accommodation was also a huge plus.
