Location suitable for conference but isolated from shopping for example shopping and choice of restaurants at The Entrance. Choice of accommodation was too limited for our needs.
Located in The Entrance, Shelly Beach Holiday Park has free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a terrace. The units have a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, electric tea pot, and a stovetop.

This was the last property available in the area that we wanted to stay. The property was far more spacious than what we needed. We liked the spa bath (even though it didn't actually work as a spa). There was tea, coffee and cookies for our breakfast: a nice welcome treat. Clean linen, towels, clean rooms.

The Entrance is a beautiful place with lovely views and local people. There are great shops to walk along and browse and plenty of options for something to eat and drink. There's a great children's playground and a water park feature also. There is also timed sessions for Pelican feedings. Definitely recommend The Entrance, it is a great family friendly place to stay.

This beachside town has suffered similarly to many others in the off tourist season with many premises being closed down, dirty streets and hoodlum car operators driving around. Whilst we were able to enjoy some good service from eateries attended the general feel of the town is not overly pleasant, possibly added to by not so great weather during our visit.

The Entrance looks tired.
The Entrance looks tired. It has so much potential but many of the motels are old or unloved. There was no opportunity to paddle board and all the boats for hire looked like they needed some upgrades. There seems to be very little development happening.
We loved eating in all the local restaurants and I’m glad that the permanent shade shelters have been installed outside most restaurants.

The Entrance is a like finding gold in a gold mine.
The Entrance is a like finding gold in a gold mine. Its such a beautiful place, whether you are caravanning, camping or holidaying in a resort or apartment it suits everyone's needs. offers so much and often above your expectations. Its a place you find and want to come back every year to build memories. GREAT PLACE TO HOLIDAY AT, AND POSSIBLY A GREAT PLAVE TO EVEN LIVE IN, IF HAD THE OPPORTUNITY.

The Entrance waterfront and restaurants are great but further afield, things aren't the way they used to be. Many shops have closed and those that hadn't, open late. There is not one good bakery for example.

Nice place with great scenery and beaches almost everywhere...
Nice place with great scenery and beaches almost everywhere you go. Quite laid back. Unfortunately we did see the memorial part come to life as activities were cancelled for the weekend we were there. Overall it is a great place to go to with family for a short holiday.
We absolutely loved the property. It was stunning & having the ocean view from the balcony was magical. I booked this 5 months in advance and was so excited to head up for the weekend. This property did not disappoint at all. The property was very clean & comfortable. We all very much enjoyed our time at the entrance and staying in this gorgeous penthouse. We will be definitely booking again in the future. Thank you for providing such a gorgeous place.
This hostel is spotlessly clear with friendly staff and in a wonderful location. Nearby are perhaps a dozen restaurants with international food. Within easy walking distance there is a beach with lifeguards in season. The seaside is lined with $200+ a night luxury accommodation but you only pay about $35 for the same attractions. The kitchen had everything you would want. You can park within metres of the rear entrance.
Pool was great as was the location of our room. Breakfast buffet was also easily accessible and we added this onto our visit on the last day. Coffee from barista was also great. Was apprehensive on arrival as alot of reviews about this place were quite negative but in turn helped our visit exceed our expectations as we had no issues or negative experiences at all!
location great, if they did the required PPM maintenance and cleaning to the rooms would also be great.
indoor pool is good but poor lighting doesnt meet min legal lighting safety requirments.
room service food if you can manage to order it was good, but limited menu get better food, quicker and cheaper at the entrance resturants.
Fantastic stay. We were in room 416. The studio suite was spotlessly clean and well appointed.
Front desk staff were fantastic, informative and super friendly.
Was really surprised to read the bad reviews.
We’re extremely fussy and we were nervous about booking this hotel but were pleasantly surprised - highly recommended.
The communication from East Coast Getaways was exceptional. They provided a comprehensive property and local area guide. The apartment was very clean and spacious. In a great location and easy walking distance to the main street of The Entrance. I would highly recommend staying in Unit 45.
We loved our motel room which had the lake view. It was clean and spacious and had places to put our things. Staff were friendly and helpful and would stay again. From the motel we could walk to the lake and jetty. We also walked along the lake to The Entrance.
Everything is excellent. I will come back again to that place. Even their restaurant have the best food. I am so happy that it is a quite place but near the town. I have been to The Entrance I did not know that there is a place perfect for my options.
The entrance., Beaches., Long Jetty. Etc. Where close to the Ibis.. especially the diggers being part of the hotel. Was awesome. , Cheap meals and breakfast . Lovely welcoming staff. Very relaxed and easy going place to stay.. very clean .. 👍😁
The rooms we were allocated were overwhelming with cigarette smoke to the point I was wheezing. The Aircon and ladies amenities were out of order. This accommodation is not suitable for adults, let alone children.
We were surprised by the roominess of the studio apartment and the facilities were extensive. It is located in the heart of the Entrance restaurant strip and walking distance to the lakeside pathways.
It's always a great location - with everything The Entrance has to offer in easy walking distance. The quality is always reliable and the rooms were well-sized and the kitchenette was well furnished.
We’ve stayed here several times and love the location and accommodation. Cabins are newly refurbished and very clean and comfortable with a short walk to the beach.Very friendly staff too.
2 bedroom apartment was better than described, easy parking and right in the heart of The Entrance with very easy access to the foreshore and cafes/shops
