Located in Henley Brook in the Western Australia Region, this detached villa is 14 mi from Perth. The cottage features a 20-acre vineyard. Guests benefit from patio. A very comfortable place in a peaceful and unique setting. The hosts were very welcoming and had provided the ideal place for a secluded getaway. The vineyard setting was magical. We took the vineyard and winemaking tour and were so glad we added this special event to our stay.

Very easy booking and stay. Quick ride to all key locations in the Swan Valley. Loved the occasional greeting from a horse or pony. I certainly recommend to others.

Located in Henley Brook, Lakeside Fun house near the Swan Valley offers a shared lounge, a garden and a grill. This is good location property where by environment is nice , near to a shopping mall and have a chinese restaurant near by. Owner is very kind and agree for us to check in on 2am without any extra charge. Beside that owner also very helpful and prompt respond when we have problem on WiFi connection. House is full of equipment and it is very comfortable for travel with small kids.
The Vines Novetel was a lovely place to stay. It is in the Upper Swan region of Perth Western Australia. The Resort is an active gold course set amongst gum trees with kangaroos hopping around. It is quite beautiful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast had a great variety and was good value for the money. We loved it there and went back for a second visit.
The hotel was beautiful and in general, very relaxing. I would have been happy if there was a pianist for some live music - I am a musician and a piano teacher myself. The portions of food at the "Muscat" restaurant was very good. Did not expect that and we very pleased!
Lovely places to visit. Don’t mention to restaurants that you came via a bus. We arrived in the swan valley around 3pm hopes in our bus about 4:30pm and went to a winery for tastings then to a brewery hoping to have dinner. They refused us entry due to the fact we were on a bus. I’m assuming they’ve had some drunken bus folk in the past.
We loved the accessibility to everything instead of having to drive to Margaret River. We went to the Ugle Duckling winery, extremely good value for money with the shared cheese platters. Friendly staff and had a duo band playing who suited the whole theme. Lunch at the chocolate factory was disappointing, 3 out of 4 of us did not finish our meals. Panini was not heated thru, pumpkin and feta salad was mainly rocket leaves and could hardly find pumpkin, quiche tasted very average. Was definitely not value for money. Could have got better in a shopping centre cafe. When a staff member cleared our plates away he asked how our meals were, we said we weren't happy ( most of our food was still on the plates ) he replied "oh that's a shame". Clearly not trained to know haw to handle a situation like that.
We live not far from the Swan Valley and so are quite familiar with the Upper Swan. For visitors the area is fabulous with heaps of wineries, restaurants, other food and beverage facilities and conference and function facilities. Plenty of accommodation choices from tenting to resort and everything in between. There is the Avon and Swan river so also boating, canoeing and fishing. Resort golf course, archery, paint ball, mini-golf etc. Overall a great area to visit, stay and enjoy.
Such a great area for wineries and beautiful produce and not far from Perth city - great for a mini break with lots of things to do for families. New favourites are The Cheese Barrel and Olive Grove Wines - awesome food, wine and service!
