I enjoyed the location and the peaceful property, the cows roaming around were a little worrisome at points but they didn't seem to be aggravated by people walking around. The fireplace was lovely and the view from the room.

So few little motels are charming these days, but the TTW was really nice: clean, updated, and the motel's restaurant had an extensive Indian food menu (among other dishes)

Tinglewood Cabins, hotel in Walpole

Located in Walpole in the Western Australia region, Tinglewood Cabins has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking.

I really love the remote and very quiet location on a clearing in the midst of the forest where one could watch the wildlife (Kangaroos, quokkas...if you're lucky)! The friendly owners Chris and Sharon were very helpful in every way and gave me some very interesting insights into the local flora and fauna. - They even gave me, the in this matter somewhat ignorant big-city guy, perfect and very helpful instruction on how to properly light up the wood-fired chimney. - At night I recommend you enjoy one of a hell of great night-sky, unspoiled from any light-pollution!! - If I ever again be in the area I will definitely be back!!

The facility was light and fresh clean to the eye, well presented. It had a good outlook to the esturary, able to see the water from the cabin. A nice quiet location, not too far from the beach, out the way from the town, but not far by the car. Plenty of shade, and not noisy at night. It wasn't far to go to do walk's if you want to see the tingle forrest, or Karri or Marri trees.

Walpole is located very close to some amazing sites and great scenery. The tree top walk was amazing and there are many places to experience nature. The town is very small and seems to close down at night, but it is still a great place to visit.

The treetop walk among the tall trees was simply amazing, and if you're there when they do a free guided tour along the ground trail (at 11 and 2 when I was there) be sure and go along. The other must-do is the WOW Wilderness Ecocruise in Walpole and Nornalup Inlets. It is not just a sightseeing boat trip - it's an education on everything Walpole and how Walpole has affected the World. Best lemon cake I've ever tasted, and most entertaining boat ride I've ever been on.

    We love Walpole.

We love Walpole. It is a friendly place, the local people make you feel welcome. The weekend markets is great and the tourist infomation bureau is extremely helpful. Although there are not a lot of places to eat those that are provide good food at a reasonable price. The pharmacy is extremely helpful and it is easy to get around walpole if you have a vehicle. It is close to Denmark and a day trip to Albany or to Pemeberton Manjimup is easy. The WOW ecocruise is a must do!! There are a lot of hiking and walking trails which are well worth doing.

We chose to stay there as near to the Tree Tops walk.

We chose to stay there as near to the Tree Tops walk. Walpole town close by, with and IGA, so we were able to buy some provisions for overnight, and use our kitchen to cook dinner. Tourist information staff in the town centre were particularly helpful.

Make sure the facility has power before you check-In.

Make sure the facility has power before you check-In. They won't refund when they can't provide what one booked & paid for. We found this place/staff to be dishonest & money-grabbing by keeping our payment even though they had no power & it was potentially a health risk for us to stay with the weather being wet & very cold. We couldn't see in the dark, no way of preparing a hot meal. No warm shower. No warm room & no warm bed available. One poor couple had to use their car headlights for the room access to feed their young one. That's very very wrong. These people should be investigated & removed from booking.com immediately. Bad attitude to guests. It's been a while now & we've communicated with them multiple times requesting our full refund & they've ignored us. Shame on you treetop walk-Walpole.

Magic view. We had wonderful weather which helped. Spotting the huge albino stingray from the jetty was a bonus. If you go to Walpole be sure to take the Eco Tour. It is the best half day tour I’ve taken. Informative and hilarious.
