The whole set-up was beautiful with the adjoining access to the club for meals and entertainment quiet area water pressure was spot on with the shower and the room was quite warm and comfortable .

Location is excellent, it is on a busy street corner and outside on the deck it is unpleasantly loud, however we expected that from reviews and mapping. There are very convenient restaurants and large grocery across the street. Inside it's quiet, and would be nice and comfortable simply with a better couch. It feels kinda like a weekend bachelor pad, but with a few changes like the couch and a little tlc from cleaning crew, this has more potential

    The accommodation part is a let down.

    The accommodation part is a let down. Small dated rooms, very basic bathroom lacking shelf / bench space. Bed is comfortable but curtains above bed let in lots of light as they are not against window frame so was hard to get to sleep with so much light coming in. Downstairs pub area and food was great.

    I love the food, the rooms & the outlook - it's amazing for...

    I love the food, the rooms & the outlook - it's amazing for the price. Would highly recommend staying there. My only comment is if you have trouble with stairs, as theirs no lift to the rooms. It's a beautiful place for a lovely walk before dinner.

    Macquarie 4 star was good for me as it was close to...

    Macquarie 4 star was good for me as it was close to amenities, had a good vibe and my room was quite and looked out over the creek. It was nice to wake up and see all the paddlers and people enjoying the water. The staff was excellent too and helped me with my requests. I will definitely stay there again.

    The expected usual area was not the Toronto area. The lake is just stunning and the people lovely. My entire experience was highly satisfactory. Warners Bay is a set of diamonds in the tiara that is Lake Mac!

    Warners Bay is located on beautiful Lake Macquarie and has all the amenities a traveller could need. Easy walking trails along the lakeside and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy access to other areas of Newcastle and is a very pleasant place to stay.

    Dirty room not cleaned to the required standard dirty towel...

    Dirty room not cleaned to the required standard dirty towel from previous guest in the room hair and urine on bathroom floor hand prints on wall and shower glass Bed pushed up against wall allowing access to one side only. Over all the room was dirty . the Noise was bad with other guest and children making noise well after 11pm at night should have families with children away from other guest with out noise children very poor management not helpfully at all owner was advised of issues but no response or no follow up from management or staff.

    The rooms had been renovated since my last stay, which exceeded my expectation. They were clean and comfortable. The coffee van out the front was a great addition to the motel and used every morning. Location is so handy with Warners Bay a short walk away.

    The room was nice, looked like it was recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. It was good that we good just to go down to the hotel for dinner each night after visiting our friend in the nursing home. The food was nice, but not exceptional.
