Loved the cosy cottage with facilities for my beloved fur babies aka 18mth black lab & 9yr blue kelpie. The cottage was immaculately clean and the beds were very well appointed & comfortable. And what a view to wake up to! Magnificent! Thank you for a short but lovely stay :)

Warrnambool is great when the weather is warm and dry. When it's wet and cold it is miserable - but then there is th Fletcher Jones Market where you can spend a whole day if you like delving through bric a brac.

Our initial view because of wrongly booked accommodation was quite negative but once we started looking around Warrnambool we fell in love with the place. There was more than enough to do because we are nature lovers so visiting the Botanical Garden - fantastic, Tower Hill Reservation where we saw koalas, emus, snakes and heaps of birds including a massive owl and a huge bee honeycomb, walking along the seaside cliff top on a designated path where we saw lots of animals and birds and a park in the centre of Warrnambool where there was just so much to see and do was a delight. Our restaurant experience was also very positive.

I was in town for an extended weekend so had time to drop out to Port Fairy and Koroit for a visit, both lovely little towns for a wander.
While in Warrnambool I first visited Kermonds Hamburgers, which is a must stop for me, I actually dropped in a second time before I left to grab a burger and create a new memory until next time.
I also dropped into Home Coffee cafe in Liebig street for breakfast twice over my stay. A good variety of meals to choose from and nice coffee. The staff were also friendly and easy to be with.
I also was up at the RSL for a visit and the folks there were also very good. The menu was varied and offered something for everyone, and I must say the food was quite tasty - if typical sort of fare that you would expect from a similar venue. But the food was good quality.
I also visited Bojangles Restaurant and found, as I have in past visits, good quality food and friendly staff. The pizza I had on this occasion was very nice indeed and of good quality.
On this visit I was down for a number of prearranged group activities so was not looking for extra things to do, but Warrnambool offers plenty.
It's easy to find your way around Warrnambool, although it can get busy.
Lots of roundabouts in town which generally work well except for the city centre area where they have created pedestrian crossings on every portion of a roundabout, This creates gridlock at busy times as cars block up the roundabouts meaning nothing can move. A little bit of patience will get you through these but be very aware.

The city is clean and tidy, with all the commercial, retail and public facilities one could want in a resort town. The council has encouraged street art and entertainment facilities including Flagstaff Hill, The Art Gallery, Capital Cinema, theatres, sporting facilities and several cycling paths. There are a range of pubs and restaurants. The coastal areas are marvellous for walking and enjoying the scenery and birdlife.

Warrnambool is one of the cleanest towns that I've visited.
Warrnambool is one of the cleanest towns that I've visited. I can honestly say that I didn't see any rubbish on the streets nor any graffiti on buildings. The botanical gardens are a credit to the shire. The whole township is well maintained. In addition, Warrnambool is packed with every store you can think of and every one of these stores is within easy reach. There is no shortage of things to see and do in and around Warrnambool. During the ten days we were there at the end of September, the weather was good but cold at nights. No shortage of dining facilities. We dined at the Flying Horse, City Memorial Bowls Club and the Allansford Hotel (a few kilometres from Warrnambool). All were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending Warrnambool for a holiday. Our top spots were Thunder Point, Flagstaff Hill, Tower Hill (where we saw koalas in the wild), Breakwater, Botanical Gardens, the Promenade, Hopkins Falls and just about everywhere.

We had an awful experience. We booked 3 rooms as we had family staying over for our daughter’s 18th. When the kids came home at 1am they couldn’t get into their room because the key card wouldn’t work and they had to sleep on the floor. We tried raising someone at the hotel for 2 hours but couldn’t get hold of anyone until after 9am the next day! It was freezing cold and none of us got any sleep.
For a pet friendly room, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. Everything we needed of the room, it had. We were able to comfortably holiday without having to walk to and from reception.
The Holiday Park is in a great location - close to the town centre. We'd definitely stay here again!
This was a great central place to stay in warrnambool. it includes free entry to the Flagstaff Hill Museum and 20% off in the gift shop. Staff at the museum were lovely and helpful. The house was beautiful and spacious.
We loved this beautiful pet friendly home. Court area is quiet. House is clean with everything you need. Very accommodating and many essentials in the cupboards for you.
