I loved that this is a small locally run hotel. Interacting with them, you can tell they really want their guests to have a great experience at their hotel and in Cairns. The staff were super friendly and helpful in booking the Great Barrier Reef and Kuranda tour. I was in a shared room with 3 beds. The room was as described and clean. The bathrooms were also clean and there are multiple so it's not a big problem to share. Amazing outdoor Shower. Easy check-out if you leave early to take a flight.

The house was cosy and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. As I was travelling alone I thought the shared bathroom would bother me, but it was fine. The house was very clean and tidy and there was a good breakfast selection.
