Great staff, great location, great value

The staff and the ambience of an old European Hotel. The entire staff were exceptional and obviously loved their Hotel.

Clean, large rooms, great staff!

It is really a beautiful and very clean hotel, with many delicious dishes and a very good breakfast, thank you

the breakfast was fresh and the location was close to the Berchem train station

The hospitality at the reception was excellent

Everything! Polite staff, amazing breakfast, comfortable beds, stylish room. The view is great!

collaborative, good energy and warm welcome. The Staff was so good and helped us for our needs. The location also was very good.

Spacious, modern & comfortable room with large bed. Not noisy at all (my room was not too close to the street), good double glazing and private parking. Nice breakfast with good choice, a good coffee machine and even a small sunny terrace outside. To be recommended!

I enjoyed it so much, the apartment had everything you need and more.

Everything was so perfect. I will stay there again

This hotel is about a 20min walk to the Central Station, but close enough to everything you need in 'downtown' Antwerp. Located in a safe and convenient area. The staff is excellent, even accommodated our last minute request of staying an extra night, for a cheaper price than listed on booking or their website. The rooms are great in size. we had 2 single beds, a chair, a desk with its own chair, a closet, and a shoe rack/sitting area. The bathroom is decent sized too, with good lighting, and toiletries. Wifi was great too, 2 people working with no slowness or issues. We didn't go to the bar in the lobby but it looked nice and always had people in it.

I was impressed with everything and I would love to return again one day

The hotel room was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a nice shower. The breakfast offered had many options to choose from!

Centrally located on het zimmerplein but yet very quiet and serene - very comfortable and spacious room ! Great breakfast as well!

Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere - and I have stayed at some of the very best. Great for both a vacation/holiday and to work. Each room is unique - it is worth phoning/emailing the hotel for advice for which room to allocate you to. My preference is the garden facing rooms - but the canal/city/"cathedral" view is lovely if you don't mind the noise and there are blackout curtains. The hotel is part of a very old building with enormous exposed beams - amazing (and very clean) floors, bathrooms and beds. But also wonderful desks, chairs and screens (bring an HDMI cable and adaptor) - perfect to get a lot of work done from a laptop if you are a remote worker. The staff are amazing - front desk, cleaning/housekeeping staff, and waiters/kitchen for the world class breakfast and Sunday lunches. From the website "Hof van Aragon is a real family business and is part of the Rastelli Group, which with more than a century of experience and guarantees a hospitable and well-cared-for stay with, above all, personal service". The hotel is made up essentially of two buildings on an L shape around a beautiful garden - the breakfast/lunch rooms and event rooms are in a lovely but separate part of the hotel, not sharing an entrance with the front desk and hotel rooms itself, which around the corner on a different street. The rooms themselves are well protected from a security perspective, which is a nice touch for a sole traveler. The hotel is in a beautiful location for the history and walkability of Lier and its restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Lier is an interesting town, with great buses (street level step on) and trains (difficult to climb on) to Antwerp and Brussels, as well as Uber, which works with a bit of time and effort.

Beautiful building and very very clean.

The place has a lot of additional advantages, the good equipped kitchen, the plugs inside the locks (for free), the beautiful lobby with the drinks, the good hairdryer. Even the gym! It's closed to the center.

Excellent staff. Great value. Excellent wellness . Free parking across the street.

Very confortable rooms. Great staff.
