Very busy tourist destination. Went to Cavendish Boardwalk, Avonlea Boardwalk, as well as Mariner's Cove Boardwalk, where the boys did mining for gems also ordered pizza from Grego, Sandspit, Marco Polo Land and of course ice cream. Cavendish was a great place to visit with many shops for all your needs. The people were friendly and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Just a shade of its former self. Still some good attractions for smaller kids (under 12) Many of the more gimmicky attractions have disappeared which is fine by me. Amazing beaches and decent golf options but still a tourist trap at heart. Kind of a food and drink desert however. If it isnt deep fried and unhealthy they probably don't have it. Usually I make the short trip to North Rustico to eat. Cavendish could really improve in thr food and drink sector.Guest review byJerryCanada - 10.0
Absolutely loved it all.
Absolutely loved it all. The cliffs, dunes and walk on Broadwalk to beach was wonderful. Every restaurant we went to was superb. Our favorite was Chez Yvonne. The staff went above and beyond.You definitely need to check out the views. They are totally amazing.Guest review byKevinCanada

The location was superb (being just a couple of 100m from Green Gables) and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.
