We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location...
We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location and New Minas was perfect. Wolfville is just down the road & there were several places to visit there (Grand Pre, Tangled Gardens) but found it too crowded and busy. The second day was spent visiting small towns (Kentville, Port Williams, Centreville, Canning) in the country side (cheese stores, craft breweries, antique shops as well as the Bay of Fundy. Drove to Hall's Harbour for supper (lobster roll) and were home before dark. It's easy to get around New Minas and area and this motel is on the main strip where all the usual restaurants are and Tim Horton's is just across the street.Guest review byDwayneCanada - 10.0
Lots of great stores for shopping
Lots of great stores for shopping Big Stop restaurant was great for lunch and dinner and is within walking distance. Very easy to drive the main road through New Minas. I wouldn't avoid anything next visit. Very easy to get to the rest of the valley,Guest review byKarenCanada

TV was a nice size and on the wall where viewing was really good. Bathroom was moderate and up to date with new toilet and fixtures!!! A/C worked wonderfully and did not make noise to keep you awake. lol Over all it was a nice quiet place even though it was just off the main street through New Minas!!!
