Niagara-on-the-lake is a fabulous location.
Niagara-on-the-lake is a fabulous location. So much to see, do and take in. From Fort George historic museum, to the Shaw Festival, to the beautiful flowered lined streets, the golf course bar view of NY across the river to wineries. We were there for 2 nights 3 days and really enjoyed every it of it. The restaurants like The Cannery at Pillar & Post (they have a beautiful garden across the street) to Tiara Restaurant at Queen’s Landing, food and service are excellent. This charming city is welcoming. We felt completely safe as we strolled the streets visiting the shops and dining in the local restaurants. Of course, dinner at the Prince of Wales was perfect. The park and many inviting benches made it easy to take a leisurely stroll even in the heat. It's a beautiful, and historic, small town with much to offer any traveler; proximity to Niagara Falls, proximity to Southern Ontario's wine country, interesting shopping and of course, The Shaw Festival. For the sailors, NOTL Yacht Club is also very nice.Guest review byDavidCanada - 10.0

She kept everything clean and replenished. Our housekeeping Lady was also very helpful and always had a nice greeting and a smile; ready to get you anything you need. When she found out we were celebrating Mom's 90th birthday she gifted us a bottle of wine on behalf of the hotel.
