Lovely location on lower slopes of Poas Volcano. Quiet. Private. Wonderful view. Deck to relax outside. Excellent bird watching. Carman and Cristina are friendly, attentive, and interesting people. Breakfast is worth the price.

The cabin was great! Kind of like a ski house, but overlooking San Jose! Cute workable little kitchen, great sitting areas inside and out, somehow with floor to ceiling windows on one side the cabins are positioned for privacy. Our cabin had 2 queen beds, one upstairs with amazing views and the other nicely set off to the side of the living room. The downstairs was all wheelchair accessible if that is important. The great thing for us was that they have an excellent upscale casual restaurant located 2 cabins up the hill. The fried cheese with strawberry sauce was amazing! Great passion fruit pie and also a full bar, plus we were able to watch a bit of tennis. There is also a great view from the restaurant and it is only 17 min drive from the volcano Paos!
