We loved a very clean and spatious room, the little patio opening right into the tropical forest was lovely, the pool was exceptional and we had it all to ourselves. The hotel's location is very convenient: very close to Rio Celeste, Bijagua, and the massive Arbol de la Paz. The typical Costa-Rican breakfast was great too.

It's a great spot for a night while driving around CR. The owner was lovely to talk to (although you need some Spanish to do so). He helped us spot Toucans and sloths and it was really a delightful little place. Breakfast was good in the morning.

This place is a total Jim nestled in the mountains near the Rio Celeste national Park! Their property also has access to a trail where you can swim in the rio Celeste. The food is really good there and a nice added bonus was a late evening frog tour through their jungle garden after dinner

Yorleny was an excellent host, she made sure we had everything we needed, was readily available to book tours for us, and arranged an excellent tour of a Cocoa plantation on our final morning. She was extremely accommodating of our young children, and ensured we had an excellent stay. The cabana was comfortable and large enough for our family of 4. It was clean and met all our expectations. Beautiful setting amongst the Cocoa trees. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, Yorleny made sure we were well fed before we set off on adventures each morning. Very close to Onca tours for rafting, and centrally located for anything else you would like to do.

    Restaurant in front had great food. Staff was wonderful. And the restaurant was fairly priced as compared to other places in CR. Access to the river at the back of the property was the highlight. We spent a long time playing in the river. And it felt so private. And it was free!

    The place is an incredible value for what you pay.

    The place is an incredible value for what you pay. The room is simple, very clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful- be sure to walk down to the lake and the trail along the river! Seeing the pineapple field was really cool too. The people were so kind and breakfast was perfect. It was nice to sit in the hammocks while a rain storm came through. Perfect spot near Rio Celeste!

    The owner that checked us in was very welcoming and provided us with info of the area. We loved the landscaping, front porch and wildlife on the property. Breakfast was perfect. The room fit our needs 100%. We definitely would stay again.

    Tenorio Volcano National Park is a must visit to enjoy...

    Tenorio Volcano National Park is a must visit to enjoy seeing Rio Celeste. Was a moderately difficult hike for our little family of five with small children, but they did great. Get there early or you'll have very long lines!

    The place is without a doubt wonderful.

    The place is without a doubt wonderful. The route is very pleasant and suitable for all types of hikers, it is not required to have a great physical condition. The photos are spectacular. Take into account that if the weather is rainy even in the days prior to the visit, the river water will look cloudy / muddy / dirty, and you will not be able to see anything spectacular, just like a normal and common river. Good luck with the weather !!!
