The town is not small but not big either. We were on the weekend there so traffic was very minimal. Some road construction but there are other ways around. It's an old town and so the building were pretty packed together. The town is scenic with some history behind it and close to each other. I consider the town to be very nice and Wilder Mann restaurant have a very nice menu and very cost friendly. I only dined there so I have no opinion on the many other options there. All in all, very nice town.
“We have stayed at this hotel many times. We like its proximity to Rothenburg of der Tauber and Dinkelsbuhl (romantic walled towns). The hotel is decorated with traditional furnishings and is very comfortable. Breakfast and meals are sumptuous and well prepared. The staff is always helpful and professional. Parking is on the street, but plentiful. The pool is outstanding and patterned after a Roman bath. On holidays there is always a quaint festival. We will stay here again!”

“The family room for 4 was really large and bright--2 adjoining bedrooms with two separate sitting areas. The room was immaculately clean and staff very friendly and welcoming. We had great home-cooked meals in the lovely outdoor beer garden. Highly recommend this hotel for visiting the area. Good central location for visiting Rothenburg, Nuremburg, and surrounds.”
