Very comfortable, great location and value. More affordable than many other places we booked that had AC and comparable amenities during our trip through Germany and Switzerland. Loved the pool and sauna amenities. Breakfast was a great variety. Kind, attentive staff. Free parking right in front of the hotel. Would happily have stayed there longer if our schedule had allowed.

The staff greeted us upon arrival and was friendly. Parking was easy. Breakfast was nice and relaxing. The room was easy to get into and due to it being a residential street the hotel was very quiet.

The room was comfortable and modern with a small walk-out area. Restaurant was very nice for dinner and the local wine delicious. Was close to the old town so was a quick drive. Breakfast was outstanding.

The location is great close to everything, including the train station. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is a nice treat.

room was very large compared to other hotels in Germany with a separate sitting area with a sofa and large bathroom. Breakfast was also not bad, with reserved tables for each guest.

Love the Black Forest decor and quiet location.

The room had bathroom en suite which was very convenient. On the same floor there was a fully equipped kitchen and the shared dining room with fridge you can use which is also good. Everything was clean and newly renovated (I stayed on the second floor). It is close the bus stop to Offenburg and also located close to the main hiking routes to Schwarzwald.

Big, clean, lovely room! Best big bathroom I've ever had at a hotel! Rooms looked basically brand new. Staff were all so lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A special mention goes to the restaurant, where we had an absolutely delicious dinner. Everything was beautifully prepared and the food was excellent. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Location, sophistication, friendly.

A beautiful small hotel with delightful staff and a long history. The recently renovated rooms are modern and clean. The view of the mountains from the windows is very picturesque.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners have found a way to run a professional guest house and still make it a welcoming “human” place to stay. My room was larger than expected – for a single room, it was massive. The shower was excellent. The room is quiet, and the Wifi is strong. The staff (it is a family-run guest house) are welcoming and suffered my terrible German with a smile. The food—oh, the food. The Chef (the husband) loves his work. Try the schnitzel; I don’t think it will taste better.

The breakfast was above board. Everything farm fresh. The owner and wife team spoke excellent English. The staff in the dinning room for dinner were courteous, charming and quirk. The place was spotlessly clean, bright and modern.
