The hotel is amazing: clean, calm, cozy, comfortable and the breakfast was amazing with a little decoration for easter. I can say that they care for the details more than any hotel i have seen before. The staff are very friendly, professional and responded to all our questions. They recommended to us what to do and have us a map with all the explanations. This indeed made our stay easier and gave us time to enjoy the sceneries around. Everything is nearby, you can go to Königssee, hintersee, thumsee, and jehner bann.

Beautiful spa resort hotel. It felt like a hidden gem. The pride of ownership is so evident. Every part of the hotel has a creative charm to it. The grounds surrounding the pool were immaculate. The food was always a treat.

The staff is very friendly and supportive. They know very well the location and can give you good advice about how to enjoy your staying at Konigsee. The hotel is also very flexible in terms of parking and check-in/check-out. Was ossible to leave our car and luggages there while we were exploring the area, even after the staying. I would like to leave a special thanks for Seba, that received us very well.

Beautiful view from the room, which was a nice size and very traditional Bavarian. Since it's tucked away there were no crowds near us, but you do have to drive through the main town to get places and it can get congested. But the accommodations were super!

Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were comfortable. Some rooms are basic with little decoration, while others are nicely appointed. Great facility with a lot of areas to sit and enjoy drinks or relax. Staff is really friendly.

    Comfortable hotel in a wonderful location with nice mountain view. Excellent meals at hotel and Brenner Bau in nearby Bishofswiesen. Easy driving access in nearby areas - not overcrowded in October season.

    Schönau am Königssee is a truly magical place, surrounded by some of the most stunning natural landscapes I’ve ever seen. The crystal-clear waters of Königssee, framed by towering alpine peaks, are simply breathtaking. We took a boat ride on the lake, which was peaceful and allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of the area. The town itself is charming and serene, offering a perfect blend of nature and relaxation. Whether hiking, boating, or just enjoying the scenery, Schönau am Königssee is a must-visit for nature lovers. We can’t wait to return!

    We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely.

    We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely. Such a beautiful and peaceful ride over to the island. The trumpet was great and the echo was brilliant. The only problem was the captain of the boat did not explain on the ride over the history of it all in English. He claimed to not know that there were English speakers on board.

    Hiking here is amazing! The lake is extremely beautiful. Hiking, you will mostly see only Germans or Austrians. Is you take the ferry, which you should, you'll see people from everywhere and it feels more touristy, but still beautiful.

    Visiting this place was just breathtaking.

    Visiting this place was just breathtaking. Everything is so clean and neat. Nice people and nice surroundings. Mountain views are beautiful. Super close to Switzerland if you are hesitating to see Mozart house and see the town. Also close to the Eagle’s Nest.
