This charming hotel is set in a historic building dating from the 17th century. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and a sun terrace. I thoroughly enjoyed the original features. Location in the village is perfect. Staff were very obliging and helpful.
Set in a historical 16th century building, Palacete Maria Rosa is a rustic-style hotel in Baños de la Encina, a small village 31 mi from Jaén. All the rooms feature air conditioning. Very accommodating. We arrived later than we expected. Around 10:30 PM. We called them in advance to let them know and they kept the kitchen open so we could have dinner upon our arrival.
Featuring a terrace, Posá la Cestería has accommodations in Baños de la Encina with free WiFi and city views. The air-conditioned property is 24 miles from Andújar. The house was very rustic and clean and charming on the top end of the village, with parking not too far from the accommodation. The family greeted me and showed me round and how to light the stove, the son spoke a little English but the mother spoke none. There was constant hot water in the property, which is a bonus in an old Spanish house. My dog was able to stay and there was a lovely old castle nearby to walk him around, as well as in the village itself.
Featuring a garden, a year-round outdoor pool and garden views, La Villa de Laura is located in Baños de la Encina. Banos de la Encina is a beautiful place. We loved the house and the beautiful view. We enjoyed the pool and the childeren loved the chickens. The owner of the place, Laura, is very friendly. Thank you Laura for the stay. We loved everything about it.
Located in Baños de la Encina, La casa del castillo offers BBQ area, free WiFi, a 24-hour front desk, and a tour desk. The apartment features city views and is 21 miles from Baeza. We liked everything. The house has been completely renovated in very good taste, keeping the original features but adding all the comforts of a new building. Magnificent views. We could not have been closer to the castle. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We loved the village as well, the castle was impressive and so were the stone buildings and churches.
The effort of going up the steep narrow streets in Baños is rewarded by the great countryside views and the sights of the monuments, which are very well preserved. My husband and children particularly liked the Hermit and the two storks who were nesting there. Lots of walking paths and, if you take the car, you can go to the lovely old mining village of El Centenillo, in the midst of Sierra Morena.
The hotel definitely met my expectations. Most of all, it was wonderfully situated. The view from the windows and from the terrace was captivating. The rooms were stylishly furnished. Time stopped there. It's worth stopping there. The service was professional and friendly. Lunch in the restaurant was delicious! I recommend Salmon 😉 I highly recommend this place!

The welcome and the hotel itself, it’s very old with lots of history and you felt it’s weight during the stay.
El hotel, el pueblo, todo es un encanto!
