Navutu Stars is a special place, it's a small resort with only 10 bures. So, it's never crowded or loud there. Still, there are many fun activities planned twice daily to keep you busy and entertained. The staff is friendly and kind and the restaurant is amazing. There is something for everyone on the menu (not ideal for vegans I might add). They also have a full bar with delicious cocktails and smoothies. We got lucky and met the nicest people during our stay. One additional highlight were the dogs that roam around the property. They were such sweet and friendly animals and added to the overall feeling of a great stay. We visited the nearby village and were so impressed by the school, the churches and the exceptional Fijian people. The children all melted our hearts. Lastly, the snorkeling right outside the port area is phenomenal.

Beautiful beach and nice little village tour (paid). 2 of the young staff members really made our stay a better experience - without Kini and her boyfriend there, I would have a very negative review. I don't think they work there permanently, so we were lucky to have them around. Kini is a great cook and really lovely to chat with, her boyfriend is friendly & funny, great person to ask Fiji travel tips from. The meals were all very local and very tasty. The gardens are tidy and there are plenty of coconut trees and mango trees around. Writing this review from home, I miss the fresh mangos!

The warmth and generosity of the hosts made our stay incredibly special—they went out of their way to share their home, culture, and daily life with us. The location is stunning; crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft sandy beaches, and some of the best snorkeling we've ever experienced, just steps from the shore. The rooms are clean, simple, and comfortable, with everything you need to feel at ease. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and birdsong was pure bliss. Meals at Taven Homestay were a highlight. Every dish was homemade using local ingredients—delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Sharing meals with the family and other guests created a beautiful sense of connection. What makes this place truly stand out is the cultural richness—opportunities to join in traditional activities, learn about village life, and experience genuine Fijian hospitality in its purest form.

    Very easy with the Yasawa flyer of South Sea Cruises, if you have the money I would recommend tha chopper back, 5 hours is still a long drive. Book the captains lounge for 10 euro extra, more comfort and free snacks and drinks
