The staff was very helpful and super nice. The location is right next all the shops and more importantly from the Palace of Versailles. I went for a run in the morning in the gardens of Versailles from the hotel. Very quiet and you can find some free parking available in the streets nearby.

Loved the location and kitchenette. Kettle, microwave and a fridge with tiny freezer. Inside the freezer was an ice tray. Ice in our glasses was a treat for us. I was able to refreeze our ice packs for the trip. They gave us directions and ordered a taxi when we were ready to leave. It is located a couple of blocks from the palace and the C line which took us to the Eiffel tower and goes on to London. Loved the area. We felt very safe out walking after dark. Markets next door to it and restaurants all over. Awesome place.

    We only came for the palace visit and the garden walks.

    We only came for the palace visit and the garden walks. Best to book the palace tour in advance and Mondays only the gardens are open. It will cost for a family. The gardens are great albeit very formal but now electric buggies are provided for a cost which are a bit of a nuisance and noisy and look a bit unhealthy as nobody walks any more. The boating lake is fun and there is a very pleasant restaurant in the gardens for drinks and food. Its bigger than you think and can take many hours to explore.

    Versailles Palace is very well managed considering the visitor numbers. There are timed entrances. Well worth paying for the extra private guided tours, especially Marie Antoinette's private apartments. We would strongly recommend staying overnight in Versailles to avoid the rush hour trains in and out of Paris. If you arrive at the Palace from 0800 you can walk around the side of the palace entrance and view the gardens before the crowds arrive. With an 0900 entry timeslot you can get straight to Hall of Mirrors before the crowds and then retrace steps of rooms you sped through! Only issue is that they need far more toilets, especially for women.

    Most beautiful palace I have ever seen! Huge! So be prepared to walk the gardens and fountains. Little hop on/off train or self drive buggies available to hire. One cafe one restraunt onsite, heaving in the summer so if you don't want to queue, carry some food/drinks with you. Short, beautiful walk from the town.

    The hotel is a 2 star hotel.

    The hotel is a 2 star hotel. The room and bathroom were functional but clean. No air con but they provided a good oscillating fan. The hotel had a secure car park and was only 15 mins from Versailles Palace. The staff were polite and helpful. Plenty of restaurant's nearby

    Saw the royal apartments and the lit 36 fountains with music...

    Saw the royal apartments and the lit 36 fountains with music on the first s Saturday of June with fireworks, the Sunday we returned to the Palace and walked round the rest of the palace which has to be nothing short of amazing. Cycling on our wonderful rented electric bikes from "freewheelingfrance.com" was a real pleasure enabling us to cycle through the park and visit all the other smaller palaces and gardens before returning to Paris the quicker way with a bit of initial road riding which was very easy on a Sunday and took us along side the Seine on a cycle route taking 75minutes to the centre to deliver the bikes back. highly recommend this cycling company who were so helpful and stay open until 7pm for returns on a Sunday.

    Great location to stay in to visit Paris. Training in daily was easy and Versailles is a quaint and fairly quiet place to stay outside the city that has enough amenities to be enjoyable. Walking everywhere was easy -but buses are available as well.

    The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting Versailles Palace as it is only 10 mins walk away. If you want to visit Paris the nearest train station is a 5 minute walk and the train to Paris takes around 20 minutes. Our host was very helpful and provided lots of information regarding the city and the palace. The room was clean and well maintained with tea and coffee making facilities available. The breakfast is simple but tasty with fresh croissant/bread with jams and fresh orange juice.

    I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. All the staff were polite and professional. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the Palace of Versailles, which was perfect. The only downside was the breakfast – there was hardly any choice and the quality was quite poor. That was disappointing compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and fantastic location.

    The bed was extremely comfortable. We found the hotel restaurant to be surprisingly good, and the bar is a nice place to have a drink in the evening. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The hotel is just down the street from the castle in Versailles and within walking distance to numerous restaurants as well as the train stations (there are two of them). The travel time to Paris depends on which train you take and ranges from 9 minutes (!) to around 30 minutes.

    It was a right decision to stay in this hotel to explore Versailles and Paris. Comfortable stay, good breakfast and safe underground parking. Location is perfect, calm area with walking distance to city center, to train station to get to Paris (30‘ to city center), close to palace and gorgeous park.
