Loved the '1st floor' piano bar area (above the Ground floor) and the drink/coffee/food offerings. Location was right by Fibber Magee's, the Opera House and 4 mins from Molly etc. Room - bed was very comfortable and the room was a wonderful size - also very clean.

Breakfast buffet had a nice variety. The staff throughout the hotel were very helpful. Especially the breakfast folks and the room cleaners. They asked daily if we had everything we needed. We stayed there a week. I liked that there was a restaurant for lunch or dinner and a bar on site. And we were either walking or using public transportation and there are two train stations not far away and we used at least 3 different bus routes that stopped in front of the hotel.

Loved Belfast, compact city centre, we saw all the main sights on our own, we walked miles and visited lots of bars for refreshments, the people were very friendly and we always ended up chatting to someone. Did the Political Troubles Walking Tour, we wouldnt have seen everything in that area without this, was great. Took a trip to the Dark Hedges, Dunluce Castle and Giants Causeway was fabulous. Went to SLF gig at Customs House Square. We packed lots in our 5 days but I would love to come back we had such a good time

Everyone in Belfast is friendly and out for a good time.

Everyone in Belfast is friendly and out for a good time. There's a huge variety of pubs and restaurants so you're never stuck for somewhere to go. Signs of the history of the troubles are still apparent but the people don't reflect that and they welcome everyone. It is definitely a "good time" city. On previous visits we have done the Titanic tour, city bus tours, harbour tours, etc. which are all good entertainment, enhanced by good Belfast humour. I can't wait to go back.

Belfast and Northern Ireland have many things to do and enjoy. I enjoy learning more of its history, walking in the many parks and on the hiking trails, and shopping downtown in the center. There are many old buildings to enjoy. Public transportation makes it easy to get around. I traveled around Northern Ireland on the train. This visit I stayed in a hostel in an old train station in the picturesque seaside town of Castle Rock. Then over a week in Belfast and towns along the Belfast Lough.

There is so much to see and do in the city and beyond.

There is so much to see and do in the city and beyond. Our stay in the hotel was first class from the very helpful and friendly staff to the appetizing food. The hop on hop off bus was brilliant for getting around. Crumlin road gaol is worth a visit also the day long bus tour to the giants causeway. Great banter from the witty driver called Karl who had a wealth of local knowledge and made sure we had lots of stops along the way. The cruise on the Lagan was very affordable and very enjoyable. Along with the Maldron the food was great in Hell Cat Maggie's opposite the City hall as was Robinson's and Gingers all within easy reach of the Maldron. So much to see and do and not enough time. Will have to make another visit.

I spent 2 months in Ireland and Northern Ireland, and Belfast and Galway were my top 2 cities. Both have a lively shopping/dining area. Belfast has a lot of interesting buildings with beautiful brickwork, a nice waterfront area, and a lot of planned events. Just walking around the city is an enjoyable experience.

Good location, close to the bus and train stations and city centre. We stayed as a family of 4, the room was clean and there was enough space for us all. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel offered a great breakfast with lots of options. Overall a nice, chilled atmosphere. Would stay here again.

A really handy location. The Aircoach/Dublin Express stop just up the street (if you're coming from DUB airport, as we were) and the hotel is just around the corner from city centre and the shopping streets. We had a loft apartment with a little kitchen and all and it was just perfect for what we needed.
