Booked the Pickwick Inn for the night as we had visited it many times for food and drinks over the years whilst holidaying in the area. We stayed the Friday night before moving to Bigbury on sea and had a wonderful night. The bar banter was great and the food was good.

Cute place. Quiet, lovely staff, great extras like a hot tub, bathrobes, fridge and free parking. Beds were comfy, wifi god and heating worked easily and on a timer. Highly recommend!

The choice of breakfast was excellent. The dining area was very well designed, as was the rest of the building. The bedroom was warm always. Scott and Alistair were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The weekly Thursday Italian night menu was excellent.

Beautyfull house and room, wonderfull decoration, very clean, wonderfull hostess and host (helped us with adjusted breakfast (food intolerances) and with our car break down during a public holiday), lovely garden view, parking space for our rental car on the premiss, close to a local pub and supermarket and bus stop. Wonderfull place to stay over for one or 2 nights on (y)our way e.g. to the beach in the south. Our best bed and breakfast in the UK so far.

The apartment is a modern studio room, very clean and comfortable, with a nice big shower. We appreciated its position so close to Kingsbridge where we have family. For the two of us it was ideal as a base.

    We made the mistake of heading to Bigbury using the postcode...

    We made the mistake of heading to Bigbury using the postcode which I assume is for the whole area. This cottage is actually in Challaborough which meant more lanes to negotiate after a very long drive to get round the hill separating the two. I preferred Challaborough to Bigbury so all ended well!l My review is for Challaborough, and not Bigbury.
