Everything was excellent ♥️ Staff very friendly and helpful..especially Luisa,cause she helped me a lot for transport and explained a lot to me to get to the station etc… Breakfast very good and a wide variety to choose from, only 1 thing i expected that at least there will be fried eggs,but never mind on the whole it is a very good hotel and I recommend it a lot. Location perfect, although i had a leg injury and had to climb up the hill, but never mind accidents happen.

We had a gorgeous room with a sea view. the room was roomy and stylish. the bathroom had a large shower with was superb. Thoughtful drinks available in the room. We had a lovely dinner there and enjoyed the extensive breakfasts. The pool area was very comfortable.

I'd like to say that the Applewood Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Bournemouth. The owner is so kind and all staff there are friendly and helpful as well. Sea Air and Savoir-Faire

Known for its sandy beaches and good nightlife, Bournemouth is a popular seaside resort on the Dorset coast between Poole and Christchurch.

The town is centred on the Bourne River, running downhill towards the sea by Bournemouth Pier. This pier looks back towards a promenade lined with beach huts at the foot of grassy cliffs. The promenade continues west to Poole, while a road goes east to neighbouring Boscombe, where anglers often fish from its pier. Overlooking it is a clifftop road housing some Bournemouth hotels with sea views.

Booking.com also offers hotels near the BIC – Bournemouth International Centre in the West Cliff area. This convention centre and music venue is a short walk from the Art Deco Pavilion Theatre, located next to the Lower Gardens. In this popular city park is the Bournemouth Eye, a tethered hot air balloon that offers far-reaching views.

At the park’s top end the river disappears under a large square, then emerges in the Central Gardens. Overlooking these gardens is the Victorian town hall, which used to be one of several spa hotels in Bournemouth. Opposite is a Grade I-listed church, and St Peter’s Church has the grave of Mary Shelley, author of ‘Frankenstein’.

On the outskirts of town, near 4 golf courses and the Castlepoint Shopping Centre, is Bournemouth Airport.

Beautiful coastline with stunning clean sandy beaches. We visited the pier and the amazing Russel-Cotes Museum. Sadly the centre of Bournemouth was somewhat run down so we opted to take all of our meals at the hotel. My mobility is compromised limiting how far I can walk, we used the excellent taxi service when required.

Bournemouth has a smart sea front and sits on a wonderful sandy bay with safe bathing and plenty of choice of hotels. It's a great base for getting out to other places I took the Purbeck Breezer bus to Swanage one day and then the Steam Railway up to Corfe Castle, a great day out. Another day via Poole to Brownsea Island and on another day by train to Weymouth. The weakness of Bournemouth is it has limited indoor activities for when it rains beyond the wonderful Russell Coats museum, a multiplex and an Oceanarium. Once again there was nothing on at the theatre during my last visit.

No restaurant on the premises or in the neighbourhood, had to go into centre to get a decent meal. It is a Bed Only so unable to have breakfast. Our friends had to cancel their bookings owing to the hotel's Sole Access room was not available. They had to book into another hotel. We are fairly regular visitors to Bournemouth. Bournemouth is a lovely seaside town.

Getting a bit rough round the pier lots of rubbish on the beach people should be made to take home the crap they leave. Carparking in town a rip off far too ecpensive makes you drive out of town in the evenings greedy carpark owners as usual

Bournemouth never disappoints!

Bournemouth never disappoints! The beach is beautiful, there's always a great atmosphere, and there's plenty to see and do. We were there for a cheer competition, so it was the perfect place to relax by the sea in between. The town has lots of places to eat and everything is within easy reach. We always enjoy coming here and can't wait to be back next year!

1st visit to Bournemouth.

1st visit to Bournemouth. Hotels in the area looked a bit tired and run down from the outside. However the beach, prom and Pier more than make up for it. Bus service very good too. 2 Wetherspoons in town centre if you are looking for value for money. Lovely park in centre too. Plenty of other places to eat drink.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The photos don't do it justice! Definitely more of a 4 or 5 star feel. It was so clean, warm and welcoming. The beds were really comfortable and the breakfast lovely. We stayed here as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating. It is located perfectly, a stones throw from the beach and lots of restaurants and bars. Plenty of parking at the hotel. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Bournemouth!

Lovely hotel, could do with an update but didn't take anything away from the friendly atmosphere..staff where amazing and accommodating for my disabled husband. Rooms where all based on celebrities which was quite funny and lots of movie memorabilia around. Breakfast was fantastic..if you are looking for a slightly cheaper hotel very close to the beach and city centre then I highly recommend this one ... really good WiFi as well.

Room number 260 royal bath hotel Bournemouth, and breakfast was lovely and evening meal was reasonable priced and nice. We got upgraded to sea view with 4 posted bed was beautiful. We always come to this hotel we love it . For the last 5 years been coming when ever we need a break . Only moan is past 2 times we come in a year jacuzzi hasnt been working.hoping to come back end February for daughter birthday

The hotel is located close to the beach and near to one of the best fish and chips shop in Bournemouth. The kids loved the pool - amazing! I enjoyed the water aerobics class so a win win from us. The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. Will definitely return next year.
