Everything😊, this was my first stay at this hotel with my dog. the hotel is so very relaxing, clean and exceptional in every way😊 The staff are very welcoming and friendly, they were very supportive of me being profoundly deaf😊 there is no deaf gadgetry in case of a fire, however I was extremely happy that if there was a fire at night someone would come into my room and wake me up, This is a big plus for me👌 There are Fabulous walks in the surrounding Forrest 😊 I have booked to come back for Christmas 😊 Also dog friendly, this is also a big plus for me😊 Dogs are not allowed in the dining room but are allowed everywhere else. So you can eat breakfast in the bar area with your dog...👌😁

Excellent location if you truly want to get away. Property was very safe and clean. Wonderful waking up to fresh coffee being brewed with the espresso machine! Property is great for couples over a long weekend.

Our host was so incredibly sweet, warm and welcoming. He waited on us hand and foot during breakfast. He is just so soft spoken & kind! Kicking myself that I didn't get a picture of him at breakfast. The room was clean and the bed comforable. The bathroom was really big! There is a kettle in the room. Breakfast was lovely. There are several cereals, juice, fruit, warm bread with butter & jelly and he prepared us hard boiled eggs (we let him know the night before that that is what we wanted). It is about a 5-10 minute drive out of town to the east of Ballater. There is free parking onsite in a small parking lot. When you pull in the driveway, head to the left of the business...the driveway kinda looks like it goes off to the right and you end up in a crater filled yard (don't ask how I know lol).
