United StatesThe village is tiny, but we were able to walk over to Coldstream in Scotland for a visit to a pub. It was a bank holiday weekend, so many shops, museums, etc. were closed. Nevertheless, the Collingwood Arms is a lovely place to relax and enjoy excellent service and fine cuisine.

I have visited the lovely town of Coldstream for many years...
I have visited the lovely town of Coldstream for many years - Civic Week in August primarily
I have stayed in many holiday lets, and for the past few times I have chosen the caravan park
This year I chose to stay over only one night due to other commitments at home but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and hope to return in the near future

Coldstream is set in a very pretty location with a beautiful view from the park.
We were meeting friends in Kelso where the Contented vine did an excellent meal. We also went to Kelso Castle, set in magnificent grounds and very interesting.

Coldstream is a lovely Border village.
Coldstream is a lovely Border village. Good Cooperative store, hotel restaurant very good, Indian and Chinese takeaways. Lovely walks around the town. Easy access to other tourist places on both sides of the Border.

Our day there coincided with shops day off.
Our day there coincided with shops day off. But not many shops there anyway. We watched the cyclists on Tour of Britain cycling through and had a coffee.
We returned to the hotel and visited the Bar for refreshment and a chat to both staff and customers.
We had a really enjoyable dinner in the dining room, which has lots of Coldstream Guards memorabilia, all of which was interesting.

Very friendly hosts at The Plough Inn Leitholm.
Very friendly hosts at The Plough Inn Leitholm. The room was well equipped comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We ate at the above during our stay in the Scottish Borders. The food was delicious and the service excellent.
I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in the Borders.

I have stayed there before and it is now run by someone else. Previously it had dining facilities & also a bar with friendly staff.
Now! you have no contact with any staff, no bar and no dining.
The *** star I think should be looked at again.!

Really nice cottage in a great location with easy parking outside. Handy for everything in Coldstream, shopping, pubs etc. Nice walk to Hirsel Estate which is well worth doing.
Close to neighbouring border towns and also Alnwick
Cottage was well equipped, clean and the owner resolved a minor issue right away.

The owners were so friendly and helpful,the hotel is small and only four rooms,so it's quiet,also has just been refurbished in the last two years and is very nicely done ,the food was lovely at night and for breakfast, offering everything you could think of all inclusive off your room price

The house was beautiful. Situated in a really quiet street, but close to centre of Coldstream with lovely views over the Tweed. Absolutely loved my bedroom and it was great that my son and I both had our own en suite facilities.
