We stayed in the apartment for one night. Saturday 28th June. The Crown is an Inn that is 275 old. I has many original features. The ambience was very quirky. It’s in a rather remote area, very quiet and peaceful. It had a fridge, kettle, microwave cutlery and crockery. It was a very hot night but we had two fans to keep us cool. Breakfast was good with plenty of tea and coffee too. The owners were very pleasant, check in was very easy. Please support this local pub with accommodation. Places like this are hard to find.

Absolutely amazing! The nicest people ran the place, and everyone was so accommodating. I booked a room last minute when another accommodation fell through and had more than enough room.

I’m so pleased we chose to stay a 3 minute drive from Hay on Wye. We got all the benefits of looking around and eating in that town but then we got to go a short distance away from the hustle and bustle and truly unwind. Our hosts were friendly and very easy to talk too. They were also fantastic cooks. They gave good dinner recommendations and really made us feel at home. The property was spotless and beautifully decorated and also had books everywhere. We used the lounge at night but there were other areas and extras we didn’t use this time.

This is an incredible place, one of those where the pictures (which are already great) don’t do it justice. Super spacious, loads of light coming in, amazing location, well equipped (everything you need and then the things you don’t know you need until you see them). Host is super responsive and helpful, and all recommendations from them were spot on.
