We stayed in the apartment for one night. Saturday 28th June. The Crown is an Inn that is 275 old. I has many original features. The ambience was very quirky. It’s in a rather remote area, very quiet and peaceful. It had a fridge, kettle, microwave cutlery and crockery. It was a very hot night but we had two fans to keep us cool. Breakfast was good with plenty of tea and coffee too. The owners were very pleasant, check in was very easy. Please support this local pub with accommodation. Places like this are hard to find.

Beautifully decorated, quiet, felt luxurious. Everything we could ask for. The owner even booked us a table at his favorite local restaurant, a 15 minute stop-and-take-pictures-along-the-way drive away.

This is a lovely little apartment. Very cozy and clean and nicely decorated. Lots of nice light. The kitchen was nicely outfitted and the coffee/tea supplies were very nice. Wonderful to have a clothes washer. Nice to have an outer room to leave wet umbrellas etc. Great, quiet location a short walk from the city center.

Comfortable and beautiful rooms, wonderful breakfast, serene surroundings. Gracious and communicative host. Conveniently located near Hay on Wye. Stone's throw from a terrific pub. Definitely recommend this place and see you again soon hopefully! :)

Good traditional B&B at a pub. The breakfast was made to order at the time of our liking. The evening meals are good and you can sit outside in the right weather. The room was well equipped and we were given a fan to help with the unusually hot weather. Altogether very good value for money. Look for the yew tree in the churchyard opposite.
