Nice place and location. Extremely friendly and caring staff, Milan was exceptionally caring and made sure I felt happy with my stay. I had to leave for my work at 0815am. He was so Extremely kind to make sure that the breakfast was well ready before I leave. Excellent stay. I do recommend!

It had everything we needed, felt really homely and cosy, and considering we booked it quite spontaneously earlier that week, we couldn’t believe our luck. We received a very warm welcome and had all our questions answered. Staff offered recommendations for places to eat but we ended up having dinner there which was lovely. Our room was quiet and comfortable, we had an early night and a lie in with absolutely no issues. Breakfast was good; tasty and hot. After check out we drove into Edinburgh city centre for a little bit of a wander and some shopping, it took us 30 minutes to get right into the centre so that was perfect. Really great value for money.

Excellent stay . Very cosy , comfortable and nicely designed new property. Host is very helpful. Easy self check in . Would definitely recommend this property.

We really like that the Scott was within walking distance (30min walking) from the city but far enough that could sleep in peace. It's a beautiful hotel, the staff is AMAZING! They really did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Very friendly staff at the front desk and during breakfast (which was excellent by the way). Free parking next to the hotel and only half an hour walk to the city centre. The rooms we had (104 and 108) were spacious and clean. When visiting Edinburgh, we definitely would stay here again.

Clean, comfy bed, quiet and the staff were just amazing. Helped us out with a fan on a hot day and were always very polite.

The service was excellent. The staff were amazing. The architecture of the building wrapped us in a feeling of warmth and belonging. The range of wines is appropriately extensive. As was the malt whisky. Breakfast was very good, and very filling. 10 out of 10!

We had been traveling for 48 hours straight, so this hotel and this room was excellent for us. Bed was so comfy and shower was so nice. We had a really good night sleep. Receptionists were so kind and patient with us, they are lovely and helpful. Also, location is convenient since most touristic spots are just a few blocks away. I highly recommend this place!

It was a wonderful accommodation, everything was modern, clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Great value for the money. The equipment of the room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, we were satisfied with the accommodation. We recommend it to others.

Our stay at Dalhousie Castle was simply wonderful! We had one of the themed rooms, which was really cool! The room was very comfortable, and it was such fun staying amongst all of the history. The food was fantastic, too. We spent the morning walking around the grounds and then did the falconry experience, which I highly recommend!! We will definitely be returning to this amazing place.

I’m not lying when I tell you I was the most nervous about my reservation at the hotel because of all the previous reviews. However, I gave it a chance and I didn’t have any of the problems mentioned before, no bed bugs, no problems closing the door and water temperature was great. I booked a double room and it was pretty big, had plenty of storage space, a comfortable bed and warm blankets. Besides, the location is perfect, you can take the coach outside the door and get to the city center in less than 15 minutes. Overall I thank the staff for my great experience and I would definitely recommend you give it a try.
