The staff were very welcoming and friendly on arrival and throughout the duration of our stay. Breakfast was a good variety and the hot food was very tasty. The hotel and rooms were very clean and fresh towels and lovely toiletries were available along with tea and coffee facilities. The location is absolutely wonderful with stunning views and a lovely garden to enjoy a drink. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away but a lovely walk all the same.

Bryn Teg Barn, hotel in Dyffryn

Bryn Teg Barn offers bed and breakfast accommodations in Dyffryn. Free private parking is available on site. The en-suite double room offers mountain and sea views, and a private lounge.

The fact this was a repeat stay at Bryn Teg Barn demonstrates just how fabulous this annex and its hosts, Bethan & Keith are. The annex itself is just perfect; rustic, cosy (a log fire!) & spacious with all the amenities one needs. But in addition to that breakfasts are superb and for a little extra Bethan will cook a wonderful meal. Bethan and Keith are so very helpful and just all round lovely people. They gave me lots of tips regarding where I could get some stunning images (I’m a fine art photographer). And let’s not forget those jaw dropping views out over the Lyn peninsula. All in all I heartily recommend Bryn Teg Barn…thanks for a wonderful stay and until next time. 😊

Bae Abermaw Boutique B&B, hotel in Dyffryn

This coastal hotel offers free parking and a spectacular location in Barmouth. There is a bar, a garden, and striking views.

Location was ideal for us with dogs although up a little steep hill (honestly no a big one its a small bit of steepness) this was well worth it for the views of the bay. Lots of outside area and grass and parking. Staff were fantastic and i have never been to such a dog welcoming place.

The cottage is perfect; comfortable, homely and well equipped. There is a great grocery shop with butchers nearby in the village. Local pubs offer beautiful gardens and good food. The beaches north and south of the village are all beautiful and excellent for walking. Barmouth, Snowdonia and Harlech are each a short drive away. The osprey centre near Porthmadog is great for a visit, too!

The heating didn’t work properly we had to have someone come out to fix it, they couldn’t fix the underfloor heating. Had no hot water for a bath or to wash the dishes, contacted the vendor with no response, so would not recommend. Very dissatisfied

As we have family there, we did not see perhaps all this place has to offer. We are however aware that some businesses have since left in the past few years. We ate at 1957 which is in the next village and comes highly recommended. Dyffryn is easy to walk around as it is not that big.

The location is perfect for exploring the local area. The building has a lot of character. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Talybont Beach is beautiful and was quiet when we were there. We ate in Llanbedr, but came back to the hotel for a night cap.

Within easy reach of railway station, village, beach etc. Facilities excellent. Because I was leaving early, the hoteliers provided a wide range of breakfast opportunities for my onward travel. Kept me warm during a particularly cold and windy night.
