Magnificent hosts! Barbara and Richard made me feel like family and were so generous in sharing their countryside with me. The animals on the property are delightful to watch, as well. The Dovecote is beautiful inside and out and the views are incredible. This has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth and I cannot wait to return.

The local Co-op is open 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm. The town is small so can be fully explored on foot. Launceston Castle is interesting. There are public footpaths nearby for country rambles. I drove to other places including Tintagel Castle.

Launceston is a pretty little town with a lovely castle and grounds. Nice independent shops and several supermarkets. Lovely walks nearby and on the edge of Dartmoor so plenty to visit. Only 25 minutes from the north Cornwall coast.

We have relatives nearby which we were visiting hence our stay. Launceston is good in parts, not many pubs served food bit it was awash wit takeaways. Not suitable for anyone with limited mobility as the town has steep hills. Tesco etc has killed all the small independents which used to be in the town

Good pubs, Red Lion in Trewint a must. Lovely town centre in Bude, can drive to Davidstowe and Boscastle, amongst other places. Heaps to do, stunning countryside for walks, definitely chocolate box. Breathtaking coastline. It's wonderful to have both countryside and coastline on offer 😁

Typical Cornish town, recommend Francine’s fish and chips for fast efficient service with a smile. The roads are narrow and it can get congested in a car but if you’re on holiday patience is key, enjoy

The location was amazing with views over the moor. The garden was ideal for our elderly dog to wander about safely. It was so lovely and quiet with no light pollution so lots of stars on a clear night. The cottage was bigger than expected and really cosy, a home from home. We live in cornwall, but not in a magical part like Bodmin moor, we would definitely book bowithick cottages again, we love it there. We even booked an extra night at the end of our stay and the owners were very accommodating. Beautiful, mystical place….highly recommend! x

From a distance the hotel looks good. The bar area containing the still is a nice space, although noisy due to the rooms acoustics and a group of happy drinkers. The bedroom on the top floor looks nice, is a good size and is well equipped. The shower room is unusual with a bit of a Wow factor. All the staff were nice. There were quite a few locals drinking in the bar, which must be a good sign. The evening meal was very nice.

West Moor View was an excellent choice when looking for somewhere reasonably central to the attractions on offer in Cornwall. This self-contained annex has everything you need for a short stay and the hosts (who live on site) are extremely responsive and helpful. The location is beautiful and quiet with views over the fields.
