This hotel is in a great location, so quiet and accessible from the M74. There is plenty of free parking. The Classic Scottish breakfast was freshly cooked with ingredients - delicious. The room was large and clean, with comfy beds. I heard nothing from the other residents, I thought I had gone deaf! The staff were great, friendly and helpfu.

The people are the #1. Everyone with a smile and willing to help you always. The Full Scottish breakfast delicious and other bites too. Warm atmosphere all around living with history attached plus modern parts like our suite with large impeccable bathrooms and everything. The fact I went into reception holding my daughters elves and when I asked if I could put them at the bar a staff member went above and beyond giving them and ice bath and message on the chalk board , my daughters face lit up when she saw them.. thanks so much xx

    It's an ok area with friendly locals and plenty of shops from large supermarkets to smaller one so you can also entertain yourself there plus there are plenty of local coffee shops and take aways.

    Everyone we interacted with was friendly. The town looked a bit “concrete”, lacking in character. Limited dining opportunities during our midweek stay. Some new residential developments evident that looked a big improvement on the derelict tower blocks that were evident and depressing.

    found a very friendly great eatery called "BUNNY MALONES" wich covered breakfast, eat in, take away, food for lunch and tea, all freshly cooked hearty,and very tasty. the atmosphere and staff were warm and jolly. Big thanks to Lynn for the special service and advice. Motherwell is central and has a great travel network making the rest of Scotland easily assesable

    My mum was born in Carfin, and we visited relatives there quite frequently - mostly passed on now. My wife and I were on our way to a holiday in the highlands so we decided to break our journey in Motherwell. I was last there about fifty years ago, so everywhere was very different! Was nice being back...

    Staff were doing a job, sometimes reluctantly i found. I know the problem with recruiting staff at the moment and retaining them but really someone should be overseeing their interaction with the public, nevr mind initial training.

    We stayed at the Innkeepers Lodge for a nearby family...

    We stayed at the Innkeepers Lodge for a nearby family reunion. Accommodation easy to find as just off M74. Strathclyde Park offered a quiet place for a stroll or bustle of amusement Park for younger generation.

    Very accommodating regarding our dogs. Little breakfast area where we could sit with dogs and eat. This was amazing especially as it was minus 8 degrees outside. Really would recommend this hotel over and over. Will be rebooking for our overnight stay en route to the Highlands next year.
