As soon as we got to The property overlooking the lake it was amazing . We were so hungry and right in front was a shack doing the best bacon butties & more coffee tea cakes etc Carl was great , it had everything there for us as we were attending a wedding at Gosfield Hall . Water & milk & cereals provided tea coffee etc . The bed was amazingly comfortable. It was perfect for us I didn’t want to leave

We stayed for two nights as we had a wedding a few miles down the road. James and Beverley are splendid hosts, and I must say the photos online do not do the rooms justice. From our welcome until our farewell we were made to feel like long lost friends. The use of the large communal kitchen allowed us to chill a few beers and a bottle of wine in the fridge so we could watch the stars after we got back from dinner, cushions already laid out for us! The room itself was marvelous, from the giant bed to the "rain type" shower it was almost more comfortable than our own home. The warm pastries in the morning tasted all the better as we ate them in soft complimentary bathrobes. If we are back in the area again, or even if we just want a night away, this is where we will stay.

This was the cutest little apartment, super clean, comfy bed, very nice patio area outside. Hosts were very friendly. Quiet and peaceful. Not really close to anything but 1 pub but daughter was at wedding close by and this was perfect location and a nice break from all the hustle of London.
