A quaint village stay. Authentic. Peaceful. Comfortable. The hosts of our stay were friendly and helpful in meeting all our family needs. Close to Chinese Restaurant - Yummy Ho, which was very eagerly consumed in the private dining room of The Leeman Rose. 🌹

For starters, this wasn't our first rodeo at Clementines. Over the past couple of years, I must've called - either with my son or partner - some 4/5 times. Rooms exquisite, staff and welcome exemplary, an ambience you won't find anywhere else in York. The decor is classic yet contemporary, amazing beds, wonderful bathrooms, AND - for the first time yet - we had breakfast. Oh my life, what've I been spending my life doing?? Superb spread, all seemingly local produce, and JUST the right amount of food to set you off on your day. Plus, it snowed over Saturday night, so we woke to a deep blanket of the white stuff. Lovely.

This is a great location for exploring York, quite near the York Minster and the rest. There are a couple of quiet restaurants, The Churchill and the Pearly Cow. The room was huge with 3 beds, big enough for a family. Bed was comfortable, good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was quite nice and served fast. Also, a portable heater was available for when you get cold.

Great location. Walking distance from city centre. Room was clean and cosy.

It was a great stay, the breakfast was good too. There was a bathtub too.

Beautiful property and excellent location

Great location, you can walk all over the city centre from the hotel, although the actual hotel area is quiet. Very good shower, useful to have parking so centrally and the breakfast exceeded expectations - a generous continental buffet with fruit, pastry and cheeses on top of the normal full English. The room itself was a bit dated but comfortable enough and clean. We would stay there again.

Location fab. Bedroom amazing. The whole interior of tue guest house breath taking. The pantry offering free nibbles and soft drinks a lovely touch

This is an excellent non-chain hotel. Great location - nice walk into York. Room clean and comfortable. Shower hreat. Breakfast nice. All in all very pleased with my stay. And parking included!

The hotel was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small but well equipped. There was a king size bed and it was super comfy. The staff was friendly and the hotel is well maintained and fashionable. Breakfast was superb and my partner and I were really satisfied. The hotel was 15 mins by taxi from the train station or 20 mins by bus.

Great location. Close to tourist attractions. Hotel had aircon in July which was great!

I even didn’t expect to stay in such a great hotel, with such a special atmosphere, with extremely comfortable rooms so nicely designed for such a reasonable price! You really find yourself in an old magic building where everything makes you amazed! Wonderful restaurant and very good bar, nice staff… it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had! Thank you!

Overall, it was a lovely stay. We would definitely come back!

The hotel is very close to the centre of York and the staff were excellent as was the breakfast.

Central location. Comfortable room and great breakfast choices

The welcome was excellent with warmth. Went to the room and we both wanted something more. I went out of my room and met a room cleaner, her name was Mary S and she told us about other good rooms in the hotel. Called the reception and spike to Ross, what an incredible person. He sorted out out and made our stay memorable. Excellent PRO skills and he delivered beyond our expectations. We had meal at the restaurant twice and the meal was good with great service from all the staffs and especially Morgan.

Just perfect. Very central, staff very friendly, nice fry up in the morning. room was small but that didn't bother me as it was clean and cosy.

The staff were friendly and welcoming & we were very happy with the room. The room was a good size and the hotel is in a great location. Mum & I were also happy with the variety of choice for breakfast and dinner.
