Such a pretty spot. The turning into the hotel car park is narrow, with a sharp turn. Although the road is quiet, it's advisable to exit the car park with caution. Also, beware of the pheasants wandering around the road into the village - they think they own the place - well they do really. There's a lovely park area with a couple of swings right opposite the hotel. Listening to the river meandering its way under the pack horse bridge was very relaxing.
A fantastic thatched roof pub in the middle of Exmoor full of character with great friendly staff and lovely food. We were made to feel very welcome not just by the staff but the locals too. The accommodation is superior, very clean warm and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast equally as good. Highly recommended.
Beautiful scenery as you drive through Exmoor national park. Quirky villages and only a short drive away from Minehead where there is a beautiful beach, steam railway and butlins if you want an extra day out. Great places to pick up fish and chips or cafes for a cupa tea.The reservoir has some long walks, tree top climbing and water activities.
It was a very pleasant experience particularly as we are not able to get away very often and want to make the most of an overnight stay. Witheridge Farm did not disappoint ! Jackie and Michael are excellent hosts . Highly recommended!
Everything was amazing from start to finish of our stay
