Ornos is well located - 5 minutes drive from Mykonos Town with a good bus service. The south facing beach has wonderful white sand and turquoise water for swimming. However 95% of it is covered with sunbeds which ranged from 70-100 euros for two. The resort is small with fairly limited choice of restaurants other than those along the beach which are great but quite pricey. It is very dangerous to walk around the resort due to the narrow roads with speedy traffic and no footpaths. Ornos was a lovely location - we preferred it to Paradise where we stayed last time (particularly for a family). But the beach gets very busy by lunchtime and there is only a very small sandy part to put your own towel/umbrella without having to rent a bed. I had a wonderful stay at this lovely place! The location is excellent—very close to the city with easy access to bakeries and shops. Everything I needed was just a short walk away, making it extremely convenient. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. What stood out most was the warm hospitality of the family running the property. Despite being a family business, their communication was professional, timely, and friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s clear they care about their guests and go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. Ornos hotel is a relaxed stylish modern hotel with beautiful views over Ornos Bay. The staff are warm and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast is great with friendly service around the pool bar and cool music creating the perfect atmosphere. It’s a short walk to the beach with some great local restaurants near by to choose from. Ornos is the best location if going to Mykonos.
Ornos is the best location if going to Mykonos. Ornos is more quiet but can catch a bus into Mykonos town which is a ten minute journey, only costing 2euro bus goes every half hour until 2.30 in the morning. As well as the sea boat which takes you to all the little beaches. Lots of lovely restaurants in ornos on the beach front kuzina was our favourite, plays lovely music. Staff everywhere are very attentive. Can also hire quads mopeds and a car if needed but the bus service ran so well. We liked staying in ornos away from the hustle and bustle in the town, so you can have nice chilled time in ornos as well as going to enjoy the night life of Mykonos in the town. Places to eat in ornos, appaigio, to Apomero and Kuzina, all really nice and reasonable price for MykonosGuest review byAnonymous
