Staying in Piraeus was a great decision before my ferry trip. The hotel was just a short walk from the port, which made it super convenient for early departures. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked well. There are plenty of cafés, bakeries, and shops nearby, and public transport into Athens is very easy. I have spent 10 days in Piraeus, it was more than enough to have time to travel around Athens, visiting different beaches and travel to nearby island from the Piraeus Port. This was a great location with walkable distance to Metro. If you looking for relaxing time on the beach but also would like to visit islands and Athens Zes Marina is the best location.
